"To probe the link among religiousness, spirituality, and IQ, I had participants complete the Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale Third Edition (WAIS-III), the Spiritual Transcendence Scale (STS), and a questionnaire that asked about their religious background and behavior, academic achievement, and SAT scores. Religious belief and behavior were negatively related to self-reported quantitative SAT (QSAT) scores. Moreover, prayer fulfillment (one of the STS subscales) correlated negatively with father’s education, and with self-reported scores on the Verbal SAT, QSAT, and Verbal IQ as measured by WAIS-III."

You say you like Jesus

Why do you celebrate Jesus death date?

Why do some drink his blood as far as I am concerned?

I would celebrate a death of someone that I don’t like (really hate)

And I would drink his blood and that is to show how I hate someone

But why do you do it to someone you love

(Or you copied it from someone how hates Jesus and lies and say I love him

I want an answer please

(Respect) ^_^

It's just words on paper, not even particularily well written, and the last chapter is great for a laugh. How many of you REALLY belive that a book can corrupt your soul with no effort on your own part?

I answered the question of why Atheists push their religion so hard, from a Christians point of view, and the answers committe refused it, when I stated my answer. If they can denouce our beliefs on this site and their reason why, then why are Christian point of views denied. They allow vulgar cuss words, and I definately did not cuss!

King James "commissioned the translation" of the Bible into the English language. Basically, his choice of words.

And the other gods? After all, Homer's "Iliad" refers to all those gods, so if Troy is real, they must be too...according to the logic of those who believe Bible archaeology proves that God exists.

Wouldn't that be just awful? The only thing I can think of more annoying than pre-jail Paris Hilton is post-jail, newly converted, proselytizing Paris Hilton.

Please, let us pray (or just hope) that she'll forget the whole thing as soon as she crosses her mansion's threshold....

Sorry, but I'm tired and cranky and had to toss this thought out.

According to Leviticus 20:9, if you curse the name of your father or mother, you must be put to death. Well isn't that lovely? Can't you just feel the love?

As for the "Old Covenant" excuse, you also have to explain why Jesus would say that he didn't come to abolish the Law. Matthew 5:17
"Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them"
