I've heard people say that this is the easiest to understand for someone who is just beginning to read the bible.

As it's been said, most bookstores will have it.
I'd recommend the Life Application Bible - New Living Translation. The notes are extremely helpful.

You can buy the New Living Translation online or at any Christian Bookstore. If you're shopping on-line i suggest Christianbooks.com
Also the Message is a very good and easy translation to understand.
i suggest also keeping your current Bible and when going to church and Bible study bring your: NIV, NASB, NKJV Bible. But for your personal reading you can read your Bible and then read the other translation to help you understand.
Also pray before you start reading and God's Holy Spirit will really help you.

Try Barnes and Noble...if not NLT they may have something like it. You must be pretty serious Youve got what about a month and a hlaf to study. lol Anyway ya i would give that a shot. I did the same thing and i worked out however i didnt stay that way for very long it just wasnt me. But hey you may have found something worth while.

freshbliss is right. Go to www.biblegateway.org it's a free online Bible resource and they have several translations, plus some Bibles that you can purchase at a reasonable cost.
