Superstitious beliefs are beliefs without basis. It was only base on the belief of our forefathers or the old folks in a community about something. Scientific belief is about the findings of science and are studied by intelligent men with kinowledge about science.

Superstition is the lack of understanding of magic or science. Crashing your car minutes after seeing a black cat is merely a coincidence, the cat can't help either crossing the road or its colour. It's more likely your car crashed because you lost control of it. And if there was nothing wrong with the car, the road or the weather conditions at the time, the next question is how much did you have to drink before driving, and did you take any other drugs?
