Why christian god take ransom of christian crimes from others?

I'm Catholic but i'm not proud to be one. I think this is just the idea of Spaniards. They conquered nations long ago and implemented catholicism. I was baptized at the age of 1, do i have a choice? I am also thinking why Catholic church are against birth control?
I don’t know if anyone here is aware that a number of
years ago the crime rate for theft and robbery in the
US went down but about half over just a few years, the
reason was simple, it was about 17 years after the
legalization of abortion. About 80% of these crimes
were performed by youths that did not get the
opportunity to grow up in a family unit but were
either single parent families or simply an unwanted
burden of their parents. It would seem so easy to any
educated person that a massive reduction in theft,
violence, child prostitution etc could be achieved
simply by the Priests preaching contraception and
restraint instead of “go forth and multiply
(regardless of the social consequence)”.

I'm not a mormon but I just got interested in those stuffs so I visited the LDS website. They had that free delievery of book of mormon, so I just signed up. I was just curious what they believe and tenets. And now, as I signed up, there was a message that missionaries will visit me to bring that book! I though I they would give me in parcel. And here's my question. Will they force me or make me feel uncomfortable to have me become a Mormon? I don't dislike mormons obviously, I just need my own time to learn the tenets all that stuff.

when u r young, our (or at least mine) force us to study(work for a student) so we can have an "easy life" in the future.. as u go on, you notice that the amount of studying required increases as you grow up.. then, when u get a good job in the end, you still have to work your *** off to give your kids a good future..u do this till u retire.. then at last when u retire and can enjoy "life" at last, you r too old to run around and jump around.. your body cant take certain stuff.. you get tired easily.. you cannot do the good things you cud when u were young.. u just lay around and then die.. so What is the LIFE all about in the society??? perhaps we have to develop another education structure? one that allows more free time for everyone?

I understand that the whole concept of counting sheep helps you concentrate on only one subject therefore making it easier for you to fall asleep. What I would like to know is what is the origin of using sheep to count instead of whatever else. How come sheep?

Jesus prayed: "Our Father in the heavens, let your name be sanctified." Matthew 6:9
Another scripture reads "Let all flesh bless [God's] holy name to time indefinite, even forever."—Psalm 145:21.

Obviously the writers of the bible believed that god's name was important. Despite this, many years after the scriptures were compiled, the almost 7000 instances of god's name "YHWH" were replaced with the title "LORD." Alright fair enough..we know that the people who took the name out were superstitious and didn't want to speak god's name despite the bible's clear message of everyone knowing it. The question is, why is bible still censored and not written as it originally was meant to be? I'm not religious but it seems that if one really believed in the bible being the holy word of god they'd want it to be as close to the original as possible. What are your thoughts on this?

My girlfriend of 4 years is out of town for a week. My sister is our housekeeper and we pay her 50.00 dollars every week to clean house. She broke my girlfriends beveled glass top coffee table by accident. She said she would replace it and she did, but the glass top wasn't beveled like the original, instead it was a plain piece of glass. She e-mailed me and said beveled would cost 350.00 dollars so if my girlfriend and I didn't like the plain glass that she would just buy us a new coffee table. The problem is that first, the coffee table isn't mine it's my girlfriend's. Two-my girlfriend was picky about the coffee table anyway and three I believe the coffee table cost more than 350.00 dollars! And my sister is like suggesting that if I think it's fine then it should be fine with my girlfriend! It's really not my decision to make because it's not my coffee table. I don't want my sister and girlfriend to get mad at each other. What do i do?

I know that it can be frustrating because I don't know what I am doing. You know that all this is new for me but please have patience with me. God said that He would do it Himself and the world will know without a doubt that it was Him because of the means by which He did it would be so wonderous, marvellous, and astonishing. All of this "help" from the people might just cause a bit of doubt. He also said that when the people of Israel return, they would be living peacefully and prosperously from the get go. He also said that the whole world would love Israel when they return. God never once said regarding the return of Zion that Israel was to re-gain it themselves, hold it themselves, and it is a mortal sin and curse to relinquesh it. God also said that when they return that they would walk in all of His statutes, judgments, and righteousness. I don't think that this is the one that He's talking about in the return of Zion.
