when u r young, our (or at least mine) force us to study(work for a student) so we can have an "easy life" in the future.. as u go on, you notice that the amount of studying required increases as you grow up.. then, when u get a good job in the end, you still have to work your *** off to give your kids a good future..u do this till u retire.. then at last when u retire and can enjoy "life" at last, you r too old to run around and jump around.. your body cant take certain stuff.. you get tired easily.. you cannot do the good things you cud when u were young.. u just lay around and then die.. so What is the LIFE all about in the society??? perhaps we have to develop another education structure? one that allows more free time for everyone?

Life is all about procreation. Everything you do is an extention of the quest to further the human race. I will use a man as an example. As a child he is told to do good in school. He does good in school and gets into a good college. He works hard in college and gets a good job. He wants this good job to look more desirable to women and find a good mate. He wants a good mate so he can pass his genetic seed on to the next generation starting the cycle all over again.

The society of "work" that we live in is just an elaborate courting system to further the human race and weed out the weaker of the pack.

Life is what you make it. Dreams, aspirations and efforts to reach the "unreacheable stars". We tried to acccomplish one thing after another in the hierachy of needs But not anyone have achieved that for human needs are unsatiable. Then we grow old and silently abandoned some of our dreams and settled down to a peaceful retirement life. We are then caught by the law of diminishing return.

Life is for living.

Whos to say that after college you can't go out and travel the world (www.gapyear.com) it doesn't cost much.... that is an experience you will never forget. THATS life.

Find a good job and a job that you like and it won't be like working your **** off.... get a decent job where you get time off to spend with your kids.

Well religious people would say that the purpose of life if to serve God and worship Him. If you have read the Bible or have a little bit of knowledge about the Bible, that is what it says. I am not really religious though, but I do believe in God and I believe He loves me whether or not I go to church. The purpose of life is to basically be a servant and be humble.

You just described life, that is exactly what it is on the slow lane.
It will be different on the fast lane, mind you.
