The similitude of Jesus is that of Adam. Jesus was born without a father and Adam with no either parents. That doesn't mean Jesus was God. Adam would be a greater God then. Know that Allah, the God Almighty has power over everything. We Muslims believe, that Jesus was one of the mightiest messengers of God that he was the Christ, that he was born miraculously without any male intervention (which many modern-day Christians do not believe today), that he gave life to the dead by God's permission and that he healed those born blind and the lepers by God's permission. But we don't belive in trinity or sonship, which goes against the basic teachings of Jesus Christ and all other Prophets.

From the beginning of creation we see that God established a very important principle, that "like produces like."

That which comes from Adam is sinful

He had become guilty and sinful. Adam's children were, likewise, the same

That which comes from God is sinless:

Jesus was conceived from a Holy source, from God himself

Jesus shared the characteristics of His Father. By this we do not mean that He was conceived by God in a sexual way. No, from scripture we are told that the power of the highest miraculously worked to produce a conception in Mary's Virgin womb. But that child carried the nature of God within Him, as He was "God with us-Immanuel."

Muslims should ask why their Qur'an never explains the reason for this unique birth of Jesus. The fact that the Qur'an mentions the virgin birth yet says nothing concerning its significance, while at the same time elevating another person to a greater level than Jesus shows that much has been left unsaid, because it was a borrowed idea to begin with, yet an idea full of hidden truth.

Because they have not understood the nature of sin, they have not understood the need for its rectification, which requires a divine intervention for its eradication. It is no wonder, then, that they have not understood the significance of the virgin birth, though they continue to claim its validity in history.

Muslims don't believe that Mary was divinely impregnated, as far as I know. Muslims believe in only one God Who has not had children. Jesus is looked on as a wise and good prophet, bur that's all. Hope this helps.

Muslims believe Jesus Christ (peace be upon him) was created the way Adam (peace be upon him) is created. The fact that Jesus doesn't have a human father doesn't mean he is son of God (in literal sense). In fact, don't you think Adam is twice as special as Jesus? Adam didn't even have a mother. Why don't you say that Adam is divinely created and thus also son of God?

God is all-powerful that he just say "Be!", and it is. He can create whatever he wants.

yes, it is. because unless you are born again of the Spirit you cannot understand the things of the spirit. The bible says, a natural man cannot understand the things of the spirit. Also satan is a deceiver and trys to bring confusion, doubts, and lies to every one and he knows that Jesus is the son of God, who has defeated him, so he is trying to keep as many people from receiving the Messiah as he can, as he knows that Jesus is the only way to God the Father.

because God tells us in the Quran and in the Bible that Mary was made pregnant by the word "Be"(divine intervention)...but nowhere is it mentioned in either that Jesus is the son of God....so no its not contradictory...what does one have to do with the other anyway?

there are many things that they don't believ..their religion is not a religion as long as mohamed is not the real prophet of the real God..their religion is a sincretism..coumpaunded of miracles ..that could be done also by devil(look how many appearences as deities devil did in mythology)..their religion is made of their personal primitive aspirations ..having up to 4 wives..and they still don't realise this is not real love..it is a cruelty..they have acknowledged information from Israel like Moses and Jesus because they had to do it...because perhaps the people whorshiped them around at their times..hearing of such huge miracles...if today you will hear that yesterday God did what he did at egiptianns..you will imediatelly..introduce this in your religion ..because you will be frighten till your bones..but their religion is not the word of God..God cannot have two opposite faces..i mean while telling us that we go to hell if we look at other/men woman and want to sleep with him/her ...while destroying your family..- and on the other side ..cannot let other people have up to 4 wives...so a friend says they they could go to hell..what life is that? is tottaly opposed to what God did for our hapiness and respect...

if God is so almighty and divine why would God want to have a son? and then have His son killed? its ridiculous thats why muslim believe that Jesus/Isa a.s is not the son of God but a prophet and not a God..why? if Jesus/Isa a.s eat like us, sleep like us, drink like us, talk like us and do any other human behaviours then what makes you think he is a God?
