Ok. I was thinking. If i become born again, would i need to stop doing the following:
Listening to hip hop music
Masturbating
Alcohol..........?
I'm so confused. I'm addicted to those things i mentioned but i really want to make a decision now.
I would really appreciate good answers.

i recently askad the question (would you hate to be a paki).this was not a racist slur as im sure its short for pakistani i wanted to find the general feeling toward other groups and from other groups and am wondering if ive offended by terming people as groups is it not a free country if your white?and why should i not be able to ask what the hell i like?and just for the record i dont dislike pakistanis or any other race or nationality but hey got some cracking answers

I believe there is no love, not for the old or the young or the weak or strong absent of true and genuine respect, not necessarily for what a person does but certainly for what a person is. So if we are first and foremost to love God then what constitutes genuine respect toward Him?

Okay, so my family is uber-religious. my mom acts like she is here to keep me safe, and that if I can't wait, she will help me get birth control, and of corse, make sure not to be home. -lol- But then, a second later, we will be talking, not about sex, and she will bring it up, and say things that make it seem like I will go to hell if i don't wait till I am married. Now, I know I most likely wont go to hell because God forgives, but is it a sin to have sex before I am married?

I'm been pulling at my brain trying to remember exactly how this story goes. I first heard it in a college lit course about 5 years ago- I loved the story- but now can't seem to remember how it goes. Here's all that I can remember( sorry for such terrible detail)-
There was a wife/mother, she had 2 kids. I'm not sure if she took her husbands eyes out so he couldn't see, or if he did that to her. But I think she murdered her two kids--or the husband did. But I remember at the end of the story the wife/mother and the 2 kids ride off in a fire chariot (i think) in the sky.
I know, I know, the details SUCK, but if anyone knows what I'm talking about and can clear up the story, or tell me anything about it, where i can find the story, i'd really really appreciate it!!
