I might argue a little (lol). I really try to do whatever He asks. Sometimes I'm not always comfortable in being completely obedient. I do believe complete submission is possible but I haven't attained to that yet. I personally believe that is one of the reasons for the Holy Ghost - to help us in this specific area. I find when I don't obey, I always regret it and that in itself is an incentive to obey even without understanding. Jesus was completely human on this earth and He attained to it as a human without using any of His God attributes. As our example, I believe we can get there if we want to bad enough and if we continue to say no to ourselves and yes to Him!

Yes, Jesus is my Lord and I would try to do whatever He asked. He said he would not ask anything more that we were capable of withstanding or doing for Him and that what was impossible for man was possible for God.
That's how miracles occur - such as the parting of the Red Sea. Moses couldn't do it - but God used him and the Egyptians saw the might of God.
We, as humans, may not capable of total submission but we can do our best.

Yes, Jesus is my lord and savior. He's asked us to do lots of things, but have we all done them?
As imperfect humans, it's hard to do exactly as anyone tells you to do. But as faithful Christians, we try our best to be completely submissive to Jesus and our heavenly father, Jehovah.
In the lords prayer (or model prayer), Jesus told us to pray that God not lead us into temptation, but to deliver us from the wicked one. And at 1 Corinthians 10:13 it reads: "No temptation has taken YOU except what is common to men. But God is faithful, and he will not let YOU be tempted beyond what YOU can bear, but along with the temptation he will also make the way out in order for YOU to be able to endure it."
So yes, we can, and should try, to do as Jesus has commanded us.
At Matthew 24:3-14, Jesus commanded all his true disciples to preach the good news of the kingdom, but are all people who profess to be his followers doing so?

I believe I would. My resolve says yes, I've really prayed about and pondered that one. My mother told me that to make the Sign of the Cross while praying means I'd be willing to die on the cross as Jesus did. For a long time I couldn't believe I could in truth mean that. Now I do.

Yes Jesus is my Lord. No, I currently don't do everything He has asked of me. I am a flawed human and I fail. However, if you are asking would my intent to be to do whatever He asks, then yes. There are some who follow Him unto death - I would hope that I will never be tested in such a manner, but I also hope, that should I be tested that I would pass.

YES.... He is my Lord and Savior. I try to do what He says, however, in my humanness I accept that I am not perfect. Even with the help of the Holy Spirit... there is a constant fight between what is right to do and what I want to do. God doesn't need us to be perfect, just willing to serve... willing to love Him and each other... willing to live our lives with as much integrity as we can muster, to trust and rely on Him and know that He perfectly loves us... even in our imperfectness.

No, I am not a christian. Opposite to popular belief of the ignorant, there were thousands of religions before Christianity. In fact, they started out as polytheistic. Gods of all flavors and attributes. The one thing I would never worship is an immoral God, for even if I didn't have my logic, I would still have my morality.

I remember a news story many years ago about a man who climbed to the top of his house.
He said God had told him to. At the time I didnt understand why everyone was acting like he was crazy. What if God did tell him to? Wouldnt you do what the creator commanded?
The answer is obvious really but theists will never grasp it.
