she wasn't super pretty but we can't ever really know for sure because portraits for royals were always exagerated to make them seem prettier but she was definately very fasion concious and was a huge fashion icon here are some pictures of her:

Yes, I think so. Her complexion was brilliant and transparent, which was her greatest asset, and one must not forget that she was said to have great charm, which is an instant "prettifier". She did, though, have a rather high, bulging forehead which could be hidden by her red-blonde hair, and she also had the heavy Hapsburg lower lip; this turned into a "pretty pout" on a mouth which was always ready to smile.

Her tutor, who was half in love with her, wrote:" There are other faces more beautiful with more regular features, but I doubt whether you will ever find a more charming one. No one who has not seen her can have any idea of the goodness, the sweetness, and at the same time the gaiety which radiates from her face."

Later in life her features suffered from her sufferings, and there is a cruel cartoon of her riding in the tumbrils to the guillotine, showing that Habsburg lip.

Here are a lot of pictures of her throughout her life:

Judging from her portraits she was rather average-looking. She was lucky, though not to have inherited the protruding Habsburg lower lip that is so prominent in some of her mother's ancestors.

back in the 1700s she would have been considered pretty by their standards. it's more of a matter of opinion if you think she is pretty now. while she might have been pretty in face she was avery young queen who was vain and loved to be spoiled and pampered. that was why her and her husband Louis whatever he was were beheaded. they spent money on pretty things and did not pay any attention to their country. from the pictures i have seen of her, she was very pretty to my standards

Based on the portraits and what people thought was pretty back then she was very pretty. By todays standards she is average.

from what i saw in her portraits, she is plain looking or maybe even a little fat, but that's what they consider pretty back then, so yes, she is pretty

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but most people did consider her beautiful.

apparently she was supposed to, i just think she had a bad portait artist, or people back then had poor taste, because i don't find portraits of her that attractive.
