Please break down your run-on sentences with periods. A term is a racist slur depending the context used. If you know it offends people, why do you use that term? Show some respect use "pakistani" if really aren't racist.
Being White doesn't automatically entitle you to freedom, I don't see the logic of that argument. Even free countries have their limits to protect the welfare of others. If a country were perfectly free, there will be no laws for protection and no benefits from the government that many people, especially Americans, take for granted.

Because of the use of the word 'Paki' in the past many see it as a derogatory and racist term.
It takes but a second to avoid using terms that might upset others. Simply using the full word would have avoided that and thus would have ensured your question survived to be answered.

Well, I wouldn't say that would be the "best question to ask" for people to answer. Some people are just against those questions, "Why?" That's who they are. Just like how you say what you feel, they say what they feel too. There is supposedly freedom of speech, but in this "United States of America" you still have to keep a close watch on what you say. If it is "united".

It doesn't matter hun, it only offends those that let it offend them. My ancestors are from India, but i get called a Paki (due to a grt suntan, lol). The Australians call us english "Pommes", we call the americans "Yanks", etc and it goes on and on.........so what!. I wouldn't let it bother you, because to me the word "paki" is just a short term for Pakistan.

It is a free country, whether you are white or not.
You should not be able to ask "what the hell you like" because this site is run and paid for by Yahoo. They have every right to tell you what you can and cannot say on thier site.

You didn't offend me. I think it's perfectly acceptable. Nobody flinches when you call someone from Austalia an Auzzie, so what's the difference?

It sounds like you were asking the question to get a reaction. If you didn't like the reaction, you shouldn't have asked the question.
