I want to know what is the most polite way to ask someone what there nationality/heritage/culture/background is without sounding ignorant. Say, if you just met someone and know they are not Caucasian or African American, how is the best way to ask what they are without offending anyone? Please don't say "why does it matter", I think it matters because it is part of getting to know someone better and I think it is very interesting to meet and learn about people who are different than me.

Hi guys, I am quite impressionable by all that commercial stuff going on for Valentines. Problem is: I don't have a boyfriend and I am not expecting any cards (except the one from my mom).
To keep Valentine from being depressing, I tried last year to do something for someone else (like in helping or a random act of kindness) but this year, I don't know what to do.

Any suggestions?

Muslims believe that church and state are the same that if you are a muslim you must eat like a muslim dress as a muslim and act as a muslim. Christian churches say the same thing. Muslims believe that their head of state must also be a religious leader and educated in the religions. Therefore how can the sunday christians say thing one against muslims when it is in our bible that we must act as christians, believe as christians and pray as christians, no just on sunday but every day the same is said of orthodox jews, they do not only abstain from pork on sabbath they abstain daily. Should not the leader of the country be of religious background an knowledgeable about the various religions in his/her own country?

There's a book called "The Messengers", by: Julia Ingram. & G. W. Hardin. It mentioned a few "psychic" women... one named Laurie McQuary (on page 104)... and, a couple of others that I'm mainly interested in... one being Patty Reed and, the other is a women named Sara... (no last name is mentioned - that I could find - from page 8 and on... ) She says that she is not a psychic but that she does "talk to the Angels"... Again, Sara & Patty Reed, (on page 123) are my main interest here.

My question: Do you know of - or, have you heard of - or, have you ever met either of these woman, and do you know how I can get in touch w/ them - or - others like them?

I'm a successful businessman, I have a great sense of humor, I'm handsome, have a wonderful personality and have everything I have ever wanted, yet for everything I have, I live without love.
