I disagree. Christianity is the only system of belief that offers a plan of salvation. There are not many heavens. There is only one heaven and that is the heaven of the Lord God who is Jesus Christ. Jesus said: I am the way, the truth and the life; no one cometh unto the Father, but by me." It is through the cross that we get to heaven. To say that there are many ways to get to heaven is to invite confusion and to make all systems of belief void. Why the necessity of many ways when just one way will do? Shall God let sin into heaven? If he would do so, then there would be no need for correct moral behavior on earth and no need to submit to God. There would be no need for hell. There would be no need for religion at all. It is mankind's nature to believe in God and to submit to a higher authority; therefore, this authority must have only one way if we are to accept the fact that he is all-wise and all-knowing, and Jesus Christ his Son is this way. Why would God establish a way other than through his Son?

Yes and no. Yes, despite whatever religion you believe, we all have a physical existence that will cease as we perceive it at some point meaning we all end up at the same place in one regard. We simply call it being physically dead.
No, different belief systems have a different idea of where we go after we leave this physical existence. If you believe in "the power of belief" it may actually alter "where we go" from this existence the same as choosing whether to turn left or right at a physical intersection. I'm NOT speaking of a black and white difference between the traditional "heaven and hell", I'm saying there may be "other" things that we are not aware of as possibilities.

I believed this for ten years.
Then I realized it makes no sense! The religions teach vastly DIFFERENT things about God and the after-life...so how can they lead to the same place or being? They are too different. Some religions don't even teach of a god-being.
I believe there is an ultimate truth and I made a choice. If I am wrong.....well, okay then.......I chose Jesus.

I believe in choice, not predestination. Our spirituality, or not, reflects our choices and where we end up is again our choice.
Our perception of spirituality - ethics, morality, are all determined by ourselves, and what rewards/punishments we receive for our actions is again determined by ourselves.
As a polytheist, I see many roads to travel, many paths. But they are guided by Deity's that we choose, and our choices will lead us in different directions. Or we may choose to have no Deity, but we still follow a path of our own making.
At the end of the day, we all choose someplace we would like to arrive at. Whether it be nowhere, or someplace like a personal heaven, or we choose to come back to this earth and continue here, again, it is a matter of choice.
Free will, the right to choose. It was given us when we were created, as told and retold in the various creation stories. And we continue to have that ability, as given by our Gods, or self determined.
So while religions are various paths, they do not end up in the same place. That is my opinion. And my choice.
Your mileage may vary.

Yes, I believe so. I believe there is only one God and the different religions are like different instruments for us to get to know that one true God. Different paths, one final place. No, I don't think truth contradicts itself. I think what matters in religion/s is not what they say, but what they do. I honestly agree that everyone can reach godlikeness on his own, I think Jesus is not the only way to heaven, and I believe there is a personal God. See, I believe that God is just so big for Him/Her/it to be limited to just one specific race or group of people gathered together thanks to socio-cultural upbringing and geographical lines. Buddhism, Islam and Christianity are undeniably different from each other and yes, there are conflicting points. But I always look past these differences, no matter how great they may be, and focus on what ties them all together. Seek to build, not to destroy.

It is true that all religions are different path to the same place. The ultimate destination is to know one's own soul and the truth and every religion aims at it with different paths to follow.

Wrong, The bible says straight is the way & narrow is the path, & many shall not be able to come in, Now I may not have exact phrase. But I can look it up, Now lets say I am going to New York, I then would head northeast since I live in Indiana, But if I head west I will not get to New York, I am on a highway, headed in the wrong direction. Also I like to add, If I see a deer in front of me & I am hunting, & I turn my gun in the oppsite direction, I would miss that dee. You have to be pointed in ONLY ONE WAY & DIRECTION.

it would seem in the beginning they were meant to be. They all seem to teach the golden rule. but it gets lost as they become organized
aleister crowley covers this subject in depth in "Magick without Tears" a book that is a series of letter between him and a student. the whole book is many abstract and philisophical ideas put into lamen's terms.

WRONG my friend!
Jesus is the way, the truth and the life. NO ONE comes to God the Father except through Him. It says so in the Bible, and its the ONLY religion that claims that too.
Those who reject Jesus Christ as being the Son of God, will NOT get to God.
All the other gods are false and are demonic.

All religions---unfortunately--become organized--& the followers make up certain dogma--which they label --"truth"--If you like that "truth"--you join that tribe--which can only lead to tribalism--"us & them"--However---the only "truth" can only be found within oneself--"know thyself"--discover the never-changing "I AM"--within you --by discarding all that is temporary. & time-bound.
