While atheists are moral people with respect for others we are not constrained by silly rules about who we can go to bed with and what we can do when we get there,

It's never a good idea to take yourself too seriously. I am passionate about some things but none involve the supernatural. I try to have fun and make people laugh.
I don't know if all of us atheists have more fun; I know we don't waste a lot of time in expensive buildings praying to deities. Who wouldn't rather go to a beach on a sunny Sunday morning and look at the girls in their dental-floss swimwear? Beats listening to some crackpot telling me his god needs money. ;-)

Happier people worry less about questions of existence, I guess.
When I have a bad hair day, I would easier start to wonder about what caused it, where we came from and why we are here. In happier moods, these questions hardly even come to mind. In pure happiness, nobody ever would wonder why we exist.
Thus, the less happy people will easier find a "god" to explain their mood.
I know this is not a scientific, logic explanation, but somehow for me it makes sense.

Well I dont know if I classify as I am not religious. BUT I DO have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and I definately have more fun having Him in my life than I have ever had!
He enhances my life and gives me great excitement and joy.
I honestly dont know how people can live their lives without such a good, great, awesome God!

Maybe. Since we generally believe that this is the only lifetime we will get, and we don't have to worry about trying to follow the silly edicts of a sky fairy so to avoid being barbecued - we spend our time helping people and doing other things that we enjoy - making the most of our one, finite life. Being God-free is very peaceful.

Psychologically-healthy people tend to be happy. Once you strip away fear and self-delusion, you're left with the acceptance of the one life you've got to live, and you want to enjoy it. That doesn't mean being lazy or irresponsible or immoral, it means being realistic and placing the value on life, not "the afterlife". Also, the better-educated you are, the better-equipped you are to debate...and to mock, when the absurdity of it all gets to be a bit too much.

Only one in true union with God has true happiness|
For true union with God brings all other good and beautiful things with it - and without the distortions that sin brings that only brings grief after indulgence|
