Jews must follow the torah.
Witchcraft/magick is not condoned in christian or jewish religion.
Yet there are kabbalah centers opening up everywhere.

I have problems with the concepts of all Abrahamic faiths, but I was raised Muslim and have left the religion now. I think that people need to be more tolerant, secular, progressive, more accepting of others. A lot of the Muslim people that I've met in my life have had a tendency to seperate themselves from other people, according to if they are Muslim or not. That is just the starting point to why Muslims act the way they do, for them the world is seperated into 2 kinds of people, Muslims and non-Muslims. Though the more educated a person is the less they do this... usually. So if I had one wish I would wish that everyone in the world had an education, especially Muslim women.

I know that lots of people have issues with Islam, even Muslims themselves. So tell me... whats the main problem for you in Islam and how do you think this problem can be fixed/improved?

What makes Wicca diffrent than other pagan religions? I know that there are many diffrent forms of wicca, and that people practice in many diffrent ways. I am just wondering what is it that makes a person wiccan instead of one of the other pagan religion, What is that common element that all wiccans have? I know that it is not the practice of magik becuase many pagan paths use magik.

Now I am not expecting that to many people would like to explain a whole religion so any links our site recamendations would be appriciated

Blessed Be

The other day I was shopping in a Co-op when I heard some grunting and a voice that appeared to be saying, "Oh yes, Mr. Badger..." over and over, coming from the next aisle.

I popped over there and saw a young Co-op worker surrounded by crates of yoghurt. I can only assume he was supposed to be putting the yoghurt onto the shelves, but it appeared he was too busy making his own trouser yoghurt - if you catch my drift. God only knows what the Mr. Badger bit was all about.

Later, when I went to pay for my goods (NOT yoghurt), the same young chap was serving at the till. I couldn't help but notice he was wearing a brown, 1930's European fascist costume under his Co-op uniform. Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't the Co-op founded on strong socialist principals?

I don't remember facism and badger sex featuring as founding principals of the Co-op.

Did I just stumble across a very strange outpost, or is the co-op generally going very weird?

I always hear phrases like "diversity is great" or "our diversity is our strength", but I have never heard anyone actually give any tangible benefits of diversity. However, I can list dozens, if not hundreds of ways diversity harms our societies and I have all the statistics and all of human history to back up my claims. These include an increase in crime rates, greater balkanization, an increase in government welfare and social spending, an increase in taxes to pay for the welfare and social programs, a less civilized and unified culture, and a decrease in education standards, just to name a few.

So, if diversity is so wonderful, then what are it's tangible benefits that will compensate for it's great costs? Other than better food, I can't think of any, and I have never heard anyone be able to list any.

The United States Of America Inc. Since 1871 – does this mean anything to anyone?
We are all property of the Department of Commerce – does anyone care that we do not own anything or ourselves as a matter of fact? Does the term STRAWMAN mean anything to anyone? Are people really happy being good little drones that are ignorant to what the “real” world is?

I don't like it when people are rude to me at work or when I am with my family. I am in my 30's, and have stood up and argued for years with my family for my rights and to get respect. I am just TIRED of defending myself. At Christmas I got the courage to get up, take my kids and walk out. I didn't confront anyone, I just left. And the unthinikable happened. Since then I have actually gotten some respect!

So my question is. When someone is being rude to you or invading your space in some way. Is it appropriate not to respond.. and if they just won't let up on you, to walk away? Because I want to teach my kids that mommy doesn't let herself get treated that way. But at the same time, this mommy is so tired standing up for herself and setting bounderies. Is silence acceptable... because for me, it just feels good to not get involved in some conflict or nosy question that someone else is starting.
