To all buddhist out there. Do we REALLY need to perfect our 5 precept and six perfect before we can take the boddhisattva vows?
Please advice

I am unaware of the 5th and 6th vows. There are four:
SENTIENT BEINGS WITHOUT NUMBER WE VOW TO ENLIGHTEN
VEXATIONS WITHOUT NUMBER WE VOW TO ERADICATE
LIMITLESS APPROACHES TO THE DHARMA WE VOW TO MASTER
THE SUPREME ENLIGHTENMENT WE VOW TO ACHIEVE
