It depends on the way the devotee visualise him. Although he is the universal God, He is said to taken abode in Mt. Kailash. In the north, people do not generally grow moustache and they do visualise their gods as having moustache. In some of the Tamil movies, I have seen Lord Siva being shown with moustache.

We see the portraits, films, idols and normally many of the Gods do not have moustache but villains like Ravana, Kamsa, Duryodhana have moustache.
Moustache represents masculine quality. To show that Gods have lot of compassion a feminine quality, depict them without moustache. It also depends upon the artist according to his feelings he makes the portrait, idol with or without moustache.
Again when they have to ,show the God with lot of wisdom they depict them with both beard and moustache of course grey in colour like what we see for Brahma the creator.

Actually no one knows what he looks like, before the cameras artist painter and sculpture were painting and sculpturing him from their imagination or by using models,, so it is artist representation(imagination) of what he may look like, nothing wrong with it.
With advent of camera, people started using live models and in movies people stared using actors.
But those who are believers, will always have his presence around them and in their heart.

in some pictures shiva has mush but i have not seen any pictures of vishnu , krishna or rama having mush. why brahma always has to be old ? they usually picture him with long white beard.may they did not take his photo when he was young ?

Only Demons used to have moustache that time.Also it is not easy to have good kiss with hairs coming in mouth.

PROBABLY THE HEAVENLY PHOTOGRAPHER DIDNT GET A CHANCE TO SHOOT THE LORD IN THEM.ANY WAY ITS AGOOD IDEA.WHY NOT SUGGEST THIS TO MF HUSSAIN.HE WILL DRAW THE LORD WITH A MOUSTACHE.
