I don't like Tesco's greed, their wanting to control everything & their Lonely lonely shops.

What is a more lonely experience than shopping in a supermarket? nobody talks to you, nobody knows you....horrible places :~(

They want to control what we eat & where we shop. they are carnivourous beast who have destroyed our towns and made them crap and created thousands of miserable dull jobs.

the only supermarket I have time for is the Co-op Rainbow store. it doesn't want to run our lives totally like Tseco does.

i hate tesco ive seen the way they acted in my town, buying out co-op then building a massive great tesco right in the middle of town. i really dont know how they get away with building something so ugly when local residents have trouble getting planning permission. i used to shop there alot but the new one is just to big for me and you have to go upstairs to shop there. the size and being above a massive car park combined with the horrid lighting makes me feel really ill when i go in now. but im sure tesco wont mind missing my £100 a week.

Its a tricky question really.

I like Tesco for the convenience of having everything under one roof, huge choice and low prices however I dislike the unpersonalised nature of the place, the lack of quality in their meat and vegetables etc. AND the hoards of people who seems to amass there every Saturday just to stand in the middle of the aisle and chat to their friend!

It all comes down to the fact that I work long hours and at the weekend, I simply don't have the will to drive around to several different shops to buy my food. That said I have started using a butcher for all of my meat that I buy in bulk and then freeze. The difference in quality is amazing.

So on the whole, I would have to say that I do dislike Tesco!

They, like most supermarkets, are a necessary evil. I for one, am trying to support my local high street shops, at the expense of Tescos (where, previously, I seemed to live the majority of my life, like a never ending nightmare). However, sadly I do need them for some of the things that I can't get on the high street. But at least it's a start. £1 in every £3 spent on food is spent in Tescos, can you believe it?

I think that Tesco is taking over the high streets bankrupting small traditional shops, such as butchers by stealing their costumers. It is lonely shopping there especially as it is so big - it's easy to get lost! However, I believe that Tesco will continue to flourish due to its convenience and the lazy culture of today.

Wow, - I don't really think about supermarkets that much. Our Tesco has a huge fridge section and I always wear a fleece going in there - very chilly!

I love Tesco. Everything is so cheap and there are thousand of products to choose from. If you lived in Africa, Tesco would be a dream.

Yes they also have a terrible Corporate Social Responsibility. They also bully farmers into low selling prices to make them bankrupt and then move on to another.

Go to farmers markets and the Co-Op, they have integrity and are surprisingly cheap!
