The leader is very controlling, member has to ask if they are going somewhere. If a person leave they are not allow to talk with that person.They believe God is instructing their leader.

So this girl I chat with pretty much everyday (I see her in school too) sent me a normal email just talking about whatever we normally talk about. Then at the end of her message she asked me right out... do I like Lesbians... I'm sure she actually wanted an answer, but I'm not sure why lol.

It just feels kinda like a loaded question. I'm know she's totally against it, so I dont want to just say yes, but hey I'm a guy I don't mind it sorry, to all that might be offended by that, but I personaly prefer more heterosexualness anyways lol. But I don't want to go and say that either because it would either come off as her thinking I'm lieing to her or strange because she expects guys to like it...

Anyways, any help in answering this would be greatly appreciated.

I just don't get it. I got busy this morning & forgot to turn off the morning news & suddenly I heard her on the tv & I listened for a bit while she trashed the President of our United States, & by the way she twists the truth to suit her agenda. Do you know who I'm referring to? That show the view that has now made her the host who leads their conversations, which of course, led to gays being discriminated against. Why does anyone put up with her? Is it the money? What? I'm not even going to print her name - you know who I'm referring to - does she make you sick? She makes me nauseous!!

At my work every morning I get people who talk on their cell phones while I am trying to ring them up, they either completely ignore me or say just enough so that I so I know what they want and then are completely speechless afterwards. I find this to be very rude and annoying, sometimes if the situation allows I will skip over them in line because I would rather not deal with them.... I never do this people who are trying to serve me and I sincerely wish that others could show me the same respect.

Don't they know that science is the ONLY way to determine facts?

Don't they know that the theory of evolution is STRONGLY supported by science?

Don't they know that logic is essential to the scientific method as well as inductive studies like the theory of evolution and the cell theory? Religion is illogical becuase it avoids the use of logic!

If you disagree that religion is illogical the show me, give a detailed argument. Otherwise don't waste my time.

Anyhow, we use scripture to back up our claims simply because if you ask a christian based question, wouldn't you use a christian based source?

That's like asking a biologist to answer a biology question without using works derived from scientific biology journals and books.

Doesn't make sense does it?

My Dad was raised way out in the country. My grandmother said it wasn't a convenient thing, being so far out and poor, to go to church. As a result, my Dad doesn't know or understand about God. He's almost like a child. When my twins were dedicated, he came to watch them and attended several times afterwards. He was far from saved, but interested. Soon after, his father got sick with cancer and died a slow, horrible death. Also, the church, at the same time, had really done someone awful. (None are perfect.) He quit going and said, "If this is how God/church are, I don't need it." He's hurt and confused. I want to help w/out pushing him further away/nagging him. I read a story about a barber who told a customer God wasn't real cause of the sickness/death here. Right outside, was a stringy headed man. The customer said, "Barbers aren't real or he wouldn't look like that." Barber answered, "Yes I am. He just didn't come to me." That's a start, but not enough.Can U help?
