That's not a church, it's a cult. And it's dangerous. There are professionals who help rescue people from cults. You should talk to local law enforcement--they may be able to tell you how to contact some of the "de-programmers".

Sounds like your daughter is in a cult! The only thing you can do is pray that her eyes will be open very soon! The longer you are in one of those cults the harder it is to see the truth!

sounds like a cult to me all I can sugest is prayer and be ready for when she does leave. if she is an adult it is hard to take away her choice but that seems to be what this cult is doing, some parents try and rescue the children but that can be considered kidnap just keep praying she will see the truth and come out of it on her own.

Your daughter is not in a church. Those behaviors are the classic definition of cult. If she is an adult, you have to accept her decision. If she is a minor, do everything you can think of to rescue her.

let me get this straight, your daughter denounced her family because of the church she is in, meaning she joined a church(cult) and now is giving up her family. either slap her some common sense or call child protection services. I'd go with the first option.

What kind of Church is that? The only time that I've ever heard something like that, the kid had gotten involved with Scientology. But, Scientology doesn't acknowledge God, so I'm not sure what kind of church it is. Sounds like a cult.

Sounds like a cult. You should talk to a social worker and ask for advice on what you should do. Sadly, I am afraid there is very little.

Do an intervention and get her into counselling as quickly as possible. The longer she is in the cult, the more damage it can have on her perminately.
