Rodolphe Salis was actually an artist who opened a famous cabaret in Paris..it was called 'Le Chat Noir' -''The Black Cat'

Tournee means either walk or round..i'm not sure which it means in the context you mentioned.
That poster was actually to advertise the cabaret..and it has since become an iconic piece of artwork from the time period.

Rodolphe Salis' Black Cat Tour. The 'Chat Noir' (Black Cat) was a 19th century cabaret opened in the Montmarte area of Paris by the artist Rodolphe Salis. It was closed in 1897.

('Tournée' means 'tour', by the way)

It translates as "The Tour of the Black Cat." The poster, which was designed by Théophile Steinlen, was originally used to advertise a tour by Salis' "Théâtre d'ombres" theatrical group in 1896 at his infamously popular cabaret-théâtre.

The black cat was already associated with a certain provocative, animalistic, sexual intelligence at that point, and it soon became symbol of the baudy, irreverent humor and the provocative art created by the actors and artists of Montmartre (at that time a northern suburb of Paris) during that period. The adjective "chatnoiresque" ("blackcatty") was coined specifically for that purpose.

Many misfortunes, makes one humble.. Too much pride to accept help.. When all seems lost, that's the time when we just think "oh, what the heck.. we've got nothing to lose, so we might as well just give it a try".. It teaches us that nothing was truly lost to begin with.. it just takes calmness.. one should collect his/her thoughts and don't be too stubborn to accept guidance from above ;) yes.. miracles do happen.. you just have to have faith.. It was a nice poem.. I enjoyed it.. :)

"Sailing on Wings".... I cannot help but think that the message for me.. or at least what I read into this beautiful piece of poetry.. is... When all seems lost.. follow your heart (bird) to find your "home".. If you search within your heart, no raging storm can keep you lost forever. There have been times I have felt that I can no longer weather the storm, perhaps of a different kind from which you write, but nevertheless.. I follow the beautiful bird within and "Sail upon my own wings" Beautiful ((((Bri)))) (-:

I wondered that cos someone bought me a poster with a black cat and these words. I realised that it was an old-fashioed advertising poster and that it was a famous print. It was only bought for me cos I love black cats!!
