The way my parents raised me, and what I learned in church and Sunday school as a child. What I learned in school also had something to do with it--as did the peers I associated with. Genes/heredity have much to do with things that have happened to me over the years, as well.
I hate the way the world is today (particularly in large cities)--as everything happening (even with some of my own children) is totally against everything I was ever taught--anywhere.
