Everywhere I look these days there is no accountability for anything. Why as a society are we almost incapable of admitting we are wrong. There is always some excuse for why we do the things we do. I will use a friend of mine as a perfect example, she has a 9-year-old son who has been labeled ADAHT and is on adoral all the time. I love her to death but she does not discipline her child at all, it is almost as if she was her child’s friend not his parent. Her child is wild and does pretty much whatever he wants. When I have talked to her about him, it is always the add, or he isn’t on med’s today, he has a difficult life(Which he doesn’t, both parents make well over 100k and he has everything he could want, they are divorced so he split’s time between both parents but that is normal in today’s society) there is always a outside reason why her child misbehaves, it is never due to the fact she refused to hold him accountable for his actions. When I baby sit for him every once in a while he is a totally different kid, he is calm, does what is asked of him and does not constantly complain. If he can control his behavior when I am around I believe his misbehavior around his mother is also a choice. Any thoughts?

Like Iran, full of fundermentalists, like America, full of fundermentalists. Like this is going to mean war. When will this stop. When will people be allowed to do something about real problems like global warming. Wars can end through a change in foreign policy but global warming will not. We need to change so much about the way we live as humans, how can we do this with religions running the governments? They don't even admit there is such a thing as global warming. If its not in the bible they don't seem to think they need to see it. I think we are all going to die soon. The whether is going to wipe us of the planet, frozen, burned, drowned human being along with their bibles and torahs and all the other useless books of theirs.

My husband insists on saving greeting cards from the past 15 years. I live in a condo and don't have the space for every valentine, birthday, etc, etc., I receive. He thinks they are memories - I think it's trash. What do you think?

In friendship or in love, do both raise their hands together to find what one cannot reach alone? Could this be so?

England if I choose to, based on the fact that I have an English parent? And in fact, is it also true that I could stay indefinitely if I so choose?

You needn't worry, if I do make this decision, I am not at all like they stereotypes you have of us Americans - loud, obnoxious, arrogant, etc.

And would I have a rough go of it if I went round admitting that I am bored to tears by what you call football over there? lol

My friend and I have been friends for almost 4 years and we both told each other we are straight. Well, I know that I am bi and I just recently came out to ONLY my mom and her friend.

Anyways, a couple of days ago my other friend that hangs out with him more than me was telling me and my mom about his conversation on the phone. She said he was talking to another guy and had that soft sound in his voice when he said, "Well, I guess I'll call you later." She believes that he's bi or gay.

Also, for the past 3 1/2 years everytime anything about him was mentioned my heart started racing. I'm not sure if that's a good thing lol. I believe so but I'm not sure. I have been thinking about whether or not I should ask him since she told me that. He still denies it to her though. So, I'm thinking if I told him about me maybe he would tell me about him. Kinda jumping out on a limb and I'm going to admit I'm scared.
Just wondering what you all think and if what I'm going to do is a good idea?

I am the only Christian (Catholic) among my friends. I normally see them after morning mass on the weekends. They know I got to church first. Sometimes, the sermon will be interesting and I want to share it. I don't see it as cramming religion down their throats. It's often, "Oh, yeah, Father H. said mass today. He talked about this topic." and then I'm off cooking dinner and let the matter drop.

I don't see it as shoving my religion down the throats of others, but I was wondering how others viewed it. My friends never complain, mainly because why argue the the person cooking you dinner.

Thanks.
