that are secular?

Why move to countries that you know your way of life will not be accepted and certainly will not be the main way of life for the whole.

What gives Muslims the right to come into our countries and force their beliefs and culture down our throats?

You have the right to live as you wish however you do not have the right to come to a country like France, Britain or the U.S.of A and expect us to cow-tow to Islamic beliefs.

"When in Rome, do as the Romans do" -- In the USA if a woman wants a drivers license SHE CAN NOT cover her face this is one of our many laws.

Why come to countries where you know you're going to cause chaos?

Is this some kind of plot to bring us down from within?

I have noted many answers which seem to say that given that atheists do not believe in a higher power, that there is no morality.

Query then: Is what is considered Good, good in itself or is it good because God says so? For example, was adultery ok until the 10 commandments were handed down? or even if there was no god, would it still be wrong?

i just wonder why that is, cause it seems like nobody likes to be the butt end of the remark, but that doesn't seem to stop them from making there own remark to another person

Ever since I was young I have had a strong desire to masturbate in public. I see it as artistic expression and I believe that those people who value freedom of expression will appreciate what I do.

I heard one day on the news that cartoons were published in Denmark that was offensive to some Muslims. Many people, including my sister, argued that those who published the cartoons should be praised for freely expressing themselves. She said that Muslims need to understand freedom of expression.

Happy that my sister supports freedom of expression, I am thinking of masturbating in front of my sister the next time she and I are in public. I am hoping that she will appreciate my freedom of expression.

Should I go ahead with this plan?

Before Christ, it is evident that there was no one other than the jew who had a relationship with the God of Abraham. What happens to the multitudes of souls that died without knowing this God, will they be judged equally by a God they did not know with those who died knowing this God? My belief is that maybe, reincarnation could be real, whereby you face judgement after a repititive span of transitions into another life until you finally meet the true God in another life...Maybe we have all lived before, and could be, this is our last life and chance as we now know this great God....

I think Society is to blame for building her up and making a "celebrity" out of her.

What's the world come to when a marketing sucker of Satan's
c o c k put her in the public eye for being a bit of a loser. Tugged on the nations heart strings coz we are a sucker for the underdog made her rich beyond belief and for what? To be a role model for our kid's?

since when did all things mediocre become a good role model for our kids !!!! (ie Bling,Gangster ect...) She's a plastic !!!!!!!

She didn't make it on her own anyone that says that needs to open their eyes she's a puppet for a corperation hot on the Chav, Bling band wagon !

Her downfall can't come soon enough !!!

Ignorant, thick and uncultured beeyutch that she is !!!

I'm not jealous just angry

Recently I joined an online book club. The first book that has been assigned for everyone to read is not available in any library and must be purchased. I am having financial problems, and even though the book is not too expensive, I know if I have to keep buying books then the cost will all add up and compared to bills, groceries, etc. this book club is not a priority. I've wanted to join a book club for a long time now and now that I finally have it feels like I should wait another little while. One of the other members of the book club said if cost of a book is a problem, then to ask her about it and maybe she can arrange something but I'm embarrassed to keep asking her for help everytime I can't afford a book. What should I do?

Has anyone else noticed the increase of illiteracy nowadays?

It really saddens me that people lower themselves to this level. I question the parents, and teachers and influences around them. It wasn't like this when I was in school. Do these people know how uneducated it makes them look when forming a whole sentence becomes too much of an effort.

Going to a concert the other night got me wondering about this. If you are into hard music and always have been, when do you think you are too old to go to a gig/concert/whatever? Are you ever too old? I grew up listening to all kinds of metal/thrash/punk/etc, I still like it all and most likely always will. Do I give up going to shows at some point because other people will think I am old?
Think about this... if you are in the 14-25ish range now and are into hard core/metal/nu/deth/goth/etc, when do you think you will stop listening to it? If you believe you will always like it, when do you decide to stop hitting up shows or dressing the way you feel comfortable? Where is the line drawn, and do you think there needs to be a limit? I think I plan on listening to this stuff until I am 90, so when do I need to dress and act "old"?
For the record, I still hit the pits harder than most of the younger ones anyway :)

Pet peeve one: freezing cold restaurants. Last night my family stopped for dinner at a semi-fast food chain for dinner. It was 40 degrees (F) outside, and the A/C was on! It was freezing in there. I do NOT enjoy my dining experience when I am sitting there shivering like a leaf at the table. This is the second location of this chain we have visited in the past three months. The other location was the same way. I wanted to go sit in the car, I was so miserable.

Pet peeve two: eating off of paper. Big, huge, oversized piece of paper getting food on it, and then getting food on me as I am trying to navigate around it. My husband, watching me get more and more annoyed, finally reaches over and folds down all the excess out of my way. While he's doing this, he asks me, "Why didn't you just fold it down like this before you started eating? I've seen you do it before."

My reply: "I'M TOO COLD!"
