Ever since I was young I have had a strong desire to masturbate in public. I see it as artistic expression and I believe that those people who value freedom of expression will appreciate what I do.
I heard one day on the news that cartoons were published in Denmark that was offensive to some Muslims. Many people, including my sister, argued that those who published the cartoons should be praised for freely expressing themselves. She said that Muslims need to understand freedom of expression.
Happy that my sister supports freedom of expression, I am thinking of masturbating in front of my sister the next time she and I are in public. I am hoping that she will appreciate my freedom of expression.
Should I go ahead with this plan?

By "Freedom of Expression" if you mean the "freedom of speech, or of the press" please note that this is only PART of the First Amendment. The rest of it equally protects "the right of the people PEACEABLY to assemble" and to petition "for a redress of grievances." In other words, you cannot take part of the First Amendment out of context, such as abusing free exercise of religion, speech or press to cause a "disruption" or "breach" of the peace. Otherwise, you will incite your neighbor to protest or petition. In order to respect peace and freedom equally, why not ask permission in advance, obtain the consent of your neighbor who might otherwise take offense. As the Declaration of Independence explains that the just powers of government are based on "consent of the governed," which in other words is the spirit of all lawful social contracts between people, then you cannot enforce actions by your consent while also violating the consent of your neighbor and claim equal protection under the laws. You must respect the rights, peace and freedom of all people equally in order to act within the bounds of law. Otherwise, you will find yourself in violation of the very laws you seek to justify your own behavior.

Yes, by all means , do it. I don't see why people are so hung up about nudity in the first place. But, please don't masturbate in front of your sister, that's a little gross.
