Since the fall of man, the basis of salvation has always been the death of Christ. No one, either prior to the cross or since the cross, would ever be saved without that one pivotal event in the history of the world. Christ's death paid the penalty for past sins of Old Testament saints and future sins of New Testament saints.
The requirement for salvation has always been faith. The object of one's faith for salvation has always been God. The psalmist wrote, "Blessed are all those who put their trust in Him" (Psalm 2:12). Genesis 15:6 tells us that Abraham believed God and that was enough for God to account it to him for righteousness (see also Romans 4:3-8). The Old Testament sacrificial system did not take away sin, as Hebrews 9:1-10:4 clearly teaches. It did, however, point to the day when the Son of God would shed His blood for the sinful human race.
What has changed through the ages is the content of a believer's faith. God's requirement of what must be believed is based on the amount of revelation He has given mankind up to that time. This is called progressive revelation. Adam believed the promise God gave in Genesis 3:15 that the Seed of the woman would conquer Satan. Adam believed Him, demonstrated by the name he gave Eve (v.20) and the Lord indicated His acceptance immediately by covering them with coats of skin (v.21). At that point that is all Adam knew, but he believed it.
Abraham believed God according to the promises and new revelation God gave him in Genesis 12 and 15. Prior to Moses, no Scripture was written, but mankind was responsible for what God had revealed. Throughout the Old Testament, believers came to salvation because they believed that God would someday take care of their sin problem. Today, we look back, believing that He has already taken care of our sins on Calvary (John 3:16; Hebrews 9:28).
What about believers in Christ's day, prior to the cross and resurrection, what did they believe? Did they understand the full picture of Christ dying on a cross for their sins? Late in his ministry, "Jesus began to show to His disciples that He must go to Jerusalem, and suffer many things from the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised the third day" (Matthew 16:21). What was the reaction of His disciples to this message? "Then Peter took Him aside and began to rebuke Him, saying, '‘Far be it from you, Lord; this shall not happen to you!'" (16:22). Peter, and the other disciples, did not know the full truth, yet they were saved because they believed that God would take care of their sin problem. They didn't exactly know how He would accomplish that, any more than Adam, Abraham, Moses, or David knew how, but they believed God.
Today, we have more revelation than did people living before the resurrection of Christ, we know the full picture. "God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets, has in these last days spoken to us by His Son" (Hebrews 1:1-2). Our salvation is still based on the death of Christ, our faith is still the requirement for salvation, and the object of our faith is still God. Today for us the content of our faith is that Christ died for our sins, that He was buried, and that He rose the third day (1 Corinthians 15:3-4).

The bible says God is just and fair. We will trust his judgement on those who died before the birth of Christ or who knew nothing about the Jews. The NT recorded that Peter talked about Christ before he arose from the death did go to hell to preach, to those who died before his birth which was the manifestation to bible writer. Anyway, the concern is for us now, would we reject Christ after his salvation message is shared? For us there would be nothing to defend at the Judgement Throne of the Lord if Jesus' gospel is rejected..

People had a relationship with God starting with Adam & Eve not starting with the Jews.
Where God's people went before Christ died?
Jesus went to hell. He went as a conquerer and a liberator. He led captivity free. Paradise was actually a part of Hell, but was not a place of torment. It was a place of comfort where all the old testament saints were held by satan. He still had a legal right to hold them, because the price for sin had not yet been paid. But, God had a place of comfort for them. Jesus paid the price , and went to release them from satans captivity and made them his captives. He led captivity free.

You know I have thought about this many times, so one day i asked my pastor. He said (and i agreed) that the people of ancient Israel and long before Jesus who is the guy you were preferring to they believed of an upper cause. To show their devotion to this spirit they offered up sacrifices every so often which i do not specifically know. Anyway through this ideas we believe that through this offering they became one with god. But for your reincarnation question i cant answer it.

I will answer you by first giving you some Scriptures from the Bible. Bare with me to the end, okay.
Romans 6:23: "For the wages sin pays is death, but the gift God gives is everlasting life by Christ Jesus our Lord."
John 5: 28 & 29: " Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice 29 and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life, those who practiced vile things to a resurrection of judgment. 30 I cannot do a single thing of my own initiative; just as I hear, I judge; and the judgment that I render is righteous, because I seek, not my own will, but the will of him that sent me."
Acts 24: 15: " and I have hope toward God, which hope these [men] themselves also entertain, that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous."
You asked about reincarnation, but no, that is not a true teaching.
The Bible has all the answers, but one needs to make sure that they truly understand the Bible because there are many who although they know some Scriptures, don't really know the truth.
Let me explain just a little about the above Scriptures...First of all,
"For the wages sin pays is death," For all those who have died, they have paid the wages for any sins they have committed. They remain dead until the resurrection, where then they are resurrected to life on earth. At that time they have a clean slate and will be able to learn about God, and then will be judged on what they do from that point on...whether they choose to be obedient to God or not. Therefore, God is completely just in his judgement and everyone will have a chance to gain accurate knowledge of God and make an informed choice. However, they will not be resurrected to the world as it is n ow because for God will have already ridded the earth of all wickedness and Satan will be abyssed during the time of the resurrection (for a thousand years)
Revelation 20: 1 & 2: "And I saw an angel coming down out of heaven with the key of the abyss and a great chain in his hand. 2 And he seized the dragon, the original serpent, who is the Devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years. 3 And he hurled him into the abyss and shut [it] and sealed [it] over him, that he might not mislead the nations anymore until the thousand years were ended. After these things he must be let loose for a little while."
It might help to know a little about what happens to us when we die..
Ecclesiastes 9:5: " For the living are conscious that they will die; but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all, neither do they anymore have wages, because the remembrance of them has been forgotten."
Ecclesiastes 3:19: "For there is an eventuality as respects the sons of mankind and an eventuality as respects the beast, and they have the same eventuality. As the one dies, so the other dies; and they all have but one spirit, so that there is no superiority of the man over the beast, for everything is vanity. 20 All are going to one place. They have all come to be from the dust, and they are all returning to the dust."
Ezekiel 18:4b: "The soul that is sinning—it itself will die."
Then last, here is a picture in words of what we can look forward to on earth...
Psalms 37: 9-11: " For evildoers themselves will be cut off,
But those hoping in Jehovah are the ones that will possess the earth.
10 And just a little while longer, and the wicked one will be no more;
And you will certainly give attention to his place, and he will not be.
11 But the meek ones themselves will possess the earth,
And they will indeed find their exquisite delight in the abundance of peace."
Psalms 145
1 I will exalt you, O my God the King,
And I will bless your name to time indefinite, even forever.
2 All day long I will bless you,
And I will praise your name to time indefinite, even forever.
3 Jehovah is great and very much to be praised,
And his greatness is unsearchable.
4 Generation after generation will commend your works,
And about your mighty acts they will tell.
5 The glorious splendor of your dignity
And the matters of your wonderful works I will make my concern.
6 And they will talk about the strength of your own fear-inspiring things;
And as for your greatness, I will declare it.
7 With the mention of the abundance of your goodness they will bubble over,
And [because of] your righteousness they will cry out joyfully.
8 Jehovah is gracious and merciful,
Slow to anger and great in loving-kindness.
9 Jehovah is good to all,
And his mercies are over all his works.
10 All your works will laud you, O Jehovah,
And your loyal ones will bless you.
11 About the glory of your kingship they will talk,
And about your mightiness they will speak,
12 To make known to the sons of men his mighty acts
And the glory of the splendor of his kingship.
13 Your kingship is a kingship for all times indefinite,
And your dominion is throughout all successive generations.
14 Jehovah is giving support to all who are falling,
And is raising up all who are bowed down.
15 To you the eyes of all look hopefully,
And you are giving them their food in its season.
16 You are opening your hand
And satisfying the desire of every living thing.
17 Jehovah is righteous in all his ways
And loyal in all his works.
18 Jehovah is near to all those calling upon him,
To all those who call upon him in trueness.
19 The desire of those fearing him he will perform,
And their cry for help he will hear, and he will save them.
20 Jehovah is guarding all those loving him,
But all the wicked ones he will annihilate.
21 The praise of Jehovah my mouth will speak;
And let all flesh bless his holy name to time indefinite, even forever.
