I am sure they are just tweaking to see what people want and do not want. But the stars are just weird IMHO.
This is how things get better though.

I really do prefer the option of giving a thumbs down - most of the questions that really do need a rating are the truly bad or overtly negative ones.

People will now assume that their question wasn't good if people don't add a star.

The changes they make are just inane ones; not useful ones like being able to delete your 'Answered Questions' pages.
Mine is way full, and I'd like to clear out the pages. I'm sure there's a way to do that and still leave them up for other readers.

Not a big fan of these here newfangled stars. I want my thumbs up and thumbs down back. That said, if I took care of this site for a living, I'd get bored and start fiddling with it all the time, too.

Yes, it would be wonderful if Yahoo would not only stop screwing with this website, but also the TV, Movies and many other websites they run!

Used to load fast and easily.. now it drags. Seems they have no clue? Who is doing their market analysis?

The asylum is being run by the lunatics.

I'm about to give up on this place.

Apparently "they" won't be happy until this place is all white bread and mayonaise. Between the "community standards" and the idiots that'll report you for disagreeing with them, I'm about done.

Me Me.

You know they now give violation notices to people who answer questions that get deleted for community standard reasons.

So, the latest change, besides these stars, is YOU worrying about WHAT questions you answer for FEAR of notices and closed accounts. All for supplying an aswer.

I'm sure everything they're doing is to make the site easier and more enjoyable to use.

Then again, I've only been here a short time, so it hasn't really affected my user-pleasure yet...
