Joseph was a step dad so to speak.
I wonder what it was like to be Joseph. To think your son, who is perfect, is actually the son of the living God. Did he ever correct him?

Jewish families in those days didn't have traditions that envolved god parents. I believe that tradition came with the catholic church durring a christening or baptism of a child, another tradition of the catholic church.
