My friend and I have been friends for almost 4 years and we both told each other we are straight. Well, I know that I am bi and I just recently came out to ONLY my mom and her friend.
Anyways, a couple of days ago my other friend that hangs out with him more than me was telling me and my mom about his conversation on the phone. She said he was talking to another guy and had that soft sound in his voice when he said, "Well, I guess I'll call you later." She believes that he's bi or gay.
Also, for the past 3 1/2 years everytime anything about him was mentioned my heart started racing. I'm not sure if that's a good thing lol. I believe so but I'm not sure. I have been thinking about whether or not I should ask him since she told me that. He still denies it to her though. So, I'm thinking if I told him about me maybe he would tell me about him. Kinda jumping out on a limb and I'm going to admit I'm scared.
Just wondering what you all think and if what I'm going to do is a good idea?

I actually do not intend to hook-up with him. Ok well maybe I KINDA am. Anyways, I want him to know that he can tell me anything, but it's probably the same situation as me and doesn't want anyone to know. So I thought by telling him I was he might open up a bit lol.
*New* Well he's at work right now, but I have the day off! So I texted him saying,"Do you think I can talk to you sometime today? There's something I wish to ask you and something I want to tell you that I think is important. If we could I'd like to talk in private if that's ok."
Thats what I sent.

Wow let me tell you, what your about to do takes a lot of guts to do it...You should be proud of what you are doing because we people have the balls to do its. Besides if he is your very close friend for years he wont judge. He has to understand that everyone is different. Best scenario would be he says his bi too and it all works out for the best, you both hook up and live happily ever after...

its a good idea as far as you will know one way or the other if he wants the hook up with you.but also be prepared to get shot down at the gate man. cause from what you wrote he doesnt want to be known as bi or anything in the public eye. good luck .

I wouldn't ask him out or anything, but go ahead and tell him. From what you have said, nothing points to sure signs of someone being gay

i think your really brave :) and if he is then thats great for you and if he is not then if he is such a great friend then he will still be agreat friend just do not tell him you fancy him unless he says that he is bi otherwise he might worry hehe goodluck !!! xx
