Like Iran, full of fundermentalists, like America, full of fundermentalists. Like this is going to mean war. When will this stop. When will people be allowed to do something about real problems like global warming. Wars can end through a change in foreign policy but global warming will not. We need to change so much about the way we live as humans, how can we do this with religions running the governments? They don't even admit there is such a thing as global warming. If its not in the bible they don't seem to think they need to see it. I think we are all going to die soon. The whether is going to wipe us of the planet, frozen, burned, drowned human being along with their bibles and torahs and all the other useless books of theirs.

The world has went through Ice ages and global warnings so many times. There is nothing man has been able to do about it in the past. What makes you think man can do anything about it this time. I'm so tired of hearing of the dooms day scenarios. First we were going to loose the Ozone layer and every one would die of radiation poisoning now it's global warming. Next Henny Penny is going to warn us the sky is falling. Perhaps we are nearing end times and those religious books are exactly what we need. You better hang on to one. Help the sky is falling the sky is falling. BB

The executive and legislative branches of the US government bounce back and forth between the parties in control and they always have. You may be unhappy or even angry when one party is in control, but it will change. The most obvious example is the US just went from a country controlled by Republicans to one split between executive and legislative control. This is not Iran and to compare the two governments in one post is a bit too shallow.

If fundamentalists take over the governments there will be war, oppression, intolerance, genocide, and ultimately, global destruction. So many of them believe in the apocalypse that they are hell bent on fulfilling it in their lifetimes, to make it into a self-fulfilling prophecy.
If fundamentalists take over the governments? That is the worst thing that could happen to the Earth and all of its inhabitants.

honestly speaking....
this will not stop...until super powers of world collapsed...by some natural disaster like global warming...
Christians only believe on what is written in bible...as this is not mentioned in bible...so they feel that...its a myth...
remember they were catholics who banned Galileo who discovered that earth is round instead of flat.. at that time catholics banned him to put non-bible version of earth..so we cant expect any thing from USA.
only nature will teach them lesson...they may be they got lesson..

No different than what is happening now. They will do what it takes to make their own lives more comfortable and to line their own pockets. Why do you think Christ taught against involvement in politics. There is not answer there. Humans have to learn that only God and his chosen representative can properly lead mankind.

I think that its OK to have these beliefs, but I do not think that they should be so critical when people try to solve these problems.
We need to take care of our earth, even if we are leaving "soon".

This is the fundamentalist's high water mark in the US. Once Bush goes the only way for them and their creed is down.

Again - stop asking "questions" that you then provide your own answer for and you'll stop getting reported. (I have never reported you btw.)

Or do you just do this and then never read anything anyone puts? You DO realize the point of this site, do you?

It would be virtually impossible for any one sect to take over the country because government has so many tiers to it.
