Did you know that Iranian pop music is chosen as the best pop music in Europe?(In France) Even one of the songs named "Imagine" won the world peace nobel prize in 2005.You ask me, the best pop melody can be found in the current Iranian pop music, the fast music with non-stop boom boom from the beginning to the end doesn't let the listener take a breath!, and all songs are very well built with the best and the most poetic lyrics possible.You know that Persian literature is famous , so naturally modern pop singers don't forget benefiting from that! I think it's so unfair that Iranian pop music is unkown just because it's Iranian! So, I've started to translate some really great songs and I send them to quite a lot of people from all around the world.Even one of them told me, she's gonna begin learning Persian just to understand the songs by herself! I remember when I first began to learn English, my goal was to understand American songs.Who knew that English would really become my course at university?!
Now, I was just asking to see if anybody is interested in a really different thing, just e-mail me and get your songs with translations.Here's a sample of the songs:

What makes the songs lifelike?
Its pulse is the throat of yesterday (It means my throat could produce a better voice in the past, so my songs were liflike)

I'm thirsty like the sun and more landless than the wind, more immediate than the song, outspoken like a loud cry
I'm lonelier than silence, brighter than the star, I love more than ever, sing with me again
I open the eyelids of the window, there are murmers of the moon light in the lane
All the windows are silent, sounds like (everyone in) this deserted lane is asleep
I call out your name aloud noiselessly, my crying closes the window
Once again, the invisible hands of night closes the eyelids of my window

he hasn't gone to church in many years, but his ex-wife and him used to go together and take their kids when they were married. he says he didn't like the "church" part of it, but he still has a relationship with God. problem is, now we have custody of his kids and they haven't been going to church last couple yrs either and his 13 yr old daughter has been influenced to go to catholic church by her friends and other family so she can have a quince. i think if she is going to be catholic, her dad should go with her to church. she is doing ccd work, but it bothers me that she was happy going to church with me and her little brother and now for the sake of having a party and learning spanish and dances, she suddenly switches. i thought catholic was traditionally something that the whole family is - why would he let her go if he doesn't believe it himself. how will she have it anyway if neither her dad nor i are a part of it?

I realize this is three questions rolled into one but they all go together......As an edcuated black female in the USA many people are shocked that I do not speak "ghetto" (ebonics) and that I have class to change this I try to educate more black people on why they should speak properly and stop acting out so often and making fools out of themselves and this bothers me because many people say I sound/act/dress white giving the impression that only white people in the USA are educated and have class........what's your answer to this question?

This maybe directed at those who are bi or the non-labeled, but, the guys who have slept with guy and girls, which partner felt better? Asia is a continent. So why are the Japanese and chinese, Korean ect. called Asian.
1. Asian can not be a race.
2. the middle east is in asia and they are arabic.
3. russia is in asia and they are white.

the term asian as a race is stupid, we should call them orientals.

I want all the good singers, not neccesarily the main stream ones, unless their good. I also want Rock groups, Rap groups, Pop groups...basically everything but country style. I know of Lady Sovereign, Alizee, Enomine, Tatu, Sasha Dith, all them, and a couple other big groups, but I want more. I can't find anything on Ebay or Amazon...partially cause I don't have a list of groups.

So, any groups that you personally like, or that you know of, would be great.

it's based on the egyptian legend story of the egyptian gods Osiris, Isis and Seth.

I think it's a fiction book. I read it in around 1992-1995 and the book already looked quite yellow and old. it was a soft cover book, around the size of most fiction paperbacks.

main characters of the book - Osiris, Isis, Seth (can't remember much). part of the story talked about how Osiris was killed and dismembered or sth like that.

but i remember clearly that the story ends on the last page with the description of Isis holding a Sceptre.

Please help if you know/have read the book before! Title and author of book please. Thanks!!

If Jesus had not been killed, could he have had everlasting life, or would he have grown old and died in less than 100 years? There are many on here that don't believe Christ was a perfect human being, physically, only spiritually. Why is that and based on what scriptures?

I live and dress as a man. Play sports and socialize with non crossdressers. But love to dress in elegant formal gowns, sensuous lingerie and high heels with full makeup and wigs when home. Are there women out there who could live with a man like me? Any who would find it more then just tolerable?
