He was besides himself. Depressed like no one else I've ever known. Toward the end he drank and smoked a lot. I don't know exactly what he did to go over to the other side. I do feel he made it
and is in the presence of God, what are your thoughts on this matter???

I just don't understand why people make such a big deal over their family & friends being gay. I'm a Christian so PLEASE do not use religious excuses but if my daughter told me she was gay it would not phase me at all, I'd want to meet her girlfriend. How come this is such a big deal to people that they'd actually disown the ones they love, I just don't understand it?

My fiancé and I are to be handfasted this April, but we’ve decided to become a married couple this month on the 28th through the Justice of the Peace. It’s going to be a very, very simple ceremony, while the handfasting will be the big celebration. You know, park gazebo, the dress, fairy wings, bubble machines, handfasting cords, broom jump, cake … the whole shebang!

The heartbreak is that I don’t think my aunt or her family will be going. A little bit of background: My whole family is Christian, but they’re also open-minded and accepting. My aunt, however, is … to say it nicely, extremely Christian. Anytime she wants to know about the union of my fiancé and I, she only mentions the civil ceremony. If I, or my mother, mentions the handfasting my aunt completely ignores it. She’ll either find an excuse to hang-up the phone, or sit there idly with the occasional “Uh-huh”, “Sure”, “That’s nice”.

Long ago, women were repressed and had few rights. I really do sympathize with that and I'm glad it's changed for the women. Now, it has gone too much the other way. I agree that it's still not totally fair when it comes to equal pay (among other issues), but it has changed. Commonly, there are no occupations/hobbies that are just for men, but there are many jobs/hobbies/socials out there that only women have (for men to accept these jobs/hobbies/socials would create a stigma for them and some others would consider them "****"). These labels are usually made by closed-minded conservatives or macho men anyway, though macho men usually tend to think there are only things for them and they can do better than women. There are always exceptions to society's rules. I'm sure liberals and open-minded people are aware. Men know more things about women than some women think. It's learned from women's mags! More women today are in trades, hockey, saleswomen in too many men's stores, etc.

He had a big debate over this at work and to me there are just some things no amount of money would get me to do if it went totally against my personal morals and beliefs. How far do you think you could go if somone offered you a this kind of money to compromise yourself in the worst way, could you stand to look at yourself aftwards, would this kind of money be worth it to you to compromise everything??? Give me an example of how far you'd go to get this money? 10 pts to best answer!

Feminism: Equality or equitable treatment of women, (and men).

If a woman, your wife, works and produces 25% more than another man or woman, should she get the same pay ?

Should she not get 25% more ?

Is not the logical need for women to be treated with equity and not merely equal to other people ?

Does not "equality", presumes or imply that we treat people equally if they are equal, and treat them unequally if they are unequal ?

To treat all people 'equally' is part of the reality of reality ?

Read the Constitution, the Ammendments, and the complete body of U.S. Law. There is no such thing as a "Separation of Church & State", only a "Non-Establishment" clause that is to protect religion from the government.

Why do so few people (even lawyers) understand this?
