I am 6 foot 2 inches and 225 pounds. No one has ever made a remark to my face concerning me being gay.

and I have been in situations where someone made a comment to a gay friend in my presence and when I asked the bigot if they had a problem, apparently it was a misunderstanding ;)

so in answer to your question, yes, bigots will speak out against those that appear weaker to them but they do not have the courage to stand up to someone their own size or bigger.

Sure they would. Think about it.

You have Arnie and PeeWee standing side by side .. let's just imagine they are both gay.

Ladies - who would you choose ?

Guys - what about you ?

Okay, chances are, you all said Arnie ! Poor PeeWee has to play with his own wee-wee. As for Arnie, he's got a selection of possible enjoyment ahead of him. He's not being harassed, but in actuality I guess you can say people are less understanding by image rather than seeing the people deep for who they really are.

Women, muscles aren't labelled 'gay or straight'. As for non-muscles - I guess they are (again, Poor PeeWee)

Now, let's back this up a little, you said LESS HOMOPHOBIC HARASSMENT, if you are suggesting that small-framed guys are more liking to take a hit for being - well - small-framed, then you have personal issues. I would suggest counselling, if your aggressions are going react to something that small.

Bullies who believe this is okay - should examine their own sexuality, cuz karma could come back and bite them in the a-s-s one day.

Thanks for the question.

I think as long as gay men themselves make reference to a sub-culture called "straight acting" it will never change. The more masculan gay individuals tend to look more "normal" than the efeminite ones, and therefor suffer less abuse. I also believe they are considered as a physcal threat and therefor suffer less harasment.

Of course. Especially since they are usually mistaken for straight men.

Plus, their appearance is more intimidating to potential harassers. People always aim for an easy target, namely the effeminate gays.

Sure, If you're muscular you are less likely to be harassed in any situation.

No, not really. I'm an equal opportunity harasser (is that even a word?). Two arms, two legs, a gay pulse and my flirting engine revs up.

Muscular homosexual men are usually left alone because a masculine physique tends to give off... well, I do not know how else to put it... a 'heterosexual air'?

I'll be honest, I think you all get harrassed, especially those of you who try to talk, and act, like women.

Depends on how big the guy.

Homophobes are "Afraid" after all.
