If they are truely sorry, forgive them... but if you could fix it so they don't ever do it again, that would be great!

This is just my opinon.
For the Rapist. I say we put them in an arena, numb them from head to toe but make sure they are completely away (we don't want them dying from a heart attack do we, that would be to easy), then we would allow them and the world to watch in the arena and on television them having thier penis's surgically removed. Then bend them over and let some freak do them from the back. Then lock them in a prison with a bunch of guys who like fresh meat and pretty mouth and let them teach the rapists "how to pray".
Now for the murderers. That's tricky because you have the people who commited involuntary manslaughter (killed someone and didn't mean to, accident, etc.). I say if it was voluntary you just lock them in a room with 3 bullies and 4 hard up gay guys and let them become a mixture of a beating pole and big ben's butt buddy.

rape is a sensitive one. Murder is easy, especially if it was blatant, they should be eradicated. Rape is different. All serial rapists should be thrown into an oven. All brutal rapes, the same. But, there is a matter of contemplation when your dealing with a 15 year old who just raped his date. I believe, with that aside, they should all be gassed.
oh, sorry..I would say as one of the answerers said: an eye for an eye, but let your will be done.
I think his will would be to eradicate them anyway. He mentions many times in scripture that victims will be avenged.

Honey, that will never happen. God gives every person ample time to repent of their sins so that they can be forgiven, even those who have done such things as you mention. They can be forgiven if they follow the same plan that God provides for the rest of us.

i'd say "gee "God" ... i don't know the causal circumstances of these people's lives. were they horribly abused as children? do they have a genetic defect? a brain disorder? they aren't my creations. they're your creations. do with them what you think best but in my humble opinion eternal torture serves no good purpose."

Go back in time to when you thought about creating them and then don't.

in that category, you need to put Liars, thieves, blasamers and adulterers.
17As Jesus started on his way, a man ran up to him and fell on his knees before him. "Good teacher," he asked, "what must I do to inherit eternal life?"
18"Why do you call me good?" Jesus answered. "No one is good—except God alone. 19You know the commandments: 'Do not murder, do not commit adultery, do not steal, do not give false testimony, do not defraud, honor your father and mother.'[d]"

Do unto them as they did to others, sir. Make 'em hurt. And by all means, please give the people they killed or raped and their families the option to watch if they want.

I would say to God, "I was told that you were a loving and merciful God. Are you not?"
