If Jesus had not been killed, could he have had everlasting life, or would he have grown old and died in less than 100 years? There are many on here that don't believe Christ was a perfect human being, physically, only spiritually. Why is that and based on what scriptures?

Okay, to modify this, if Christ had refused his fate, and sinned, would he have aged at the same rate as those around him, or at the rate that Adam did? Would he had died in a few decades, or a few centuries?

I never heard this question before..
But Jesus was born and He grew up and reached adulthood
He was made of flesh like you and I.
But was without sin.
If Adam and Eve had not sinned they would have lived forever.
But Jesus didn't sin. So would He have lived forever in the flesh?
But if He hadn't of died on the cross, would that have been sin?
Since He knew the Father's will for His life....
"And He said, Abba, Father, all things are possible unto thee; take away this cup from Me: Nevertheless not what I will, but what thou wilt. Mark 14:36
So if Christ would have refused to go to the cross would that have been sin and consequently began the process of death to His body through sin?
"Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin." James 4:17

Who really knows much of this after 2000 years except that he was God in human form and it is impossible for God to sin. I think the human body would have eventually died since he was agining from the time of a child. When he died he had a body that was everlasting, a heavenly body the same as we will have only we have to wait till the end of the world for our bodies and souls to unite.
I know what you mean. Sin equals death and he didn't sin.
Yet I believe ne was aging and looked his age at 33 rather than a teenager.
Thats a real interesting question. It makes you think.

Jesus was subject to everything that us humans deal with everyday. He was tempted by Satan himself. How many people have been directly tempted by Satan himself? if anything the leaders of nations and countries.
Jesus is perfect: mentally, spiritually, and physically.
If Jesus was not killed then yes he would have grown old and died, but that was not his will.
Put it this way, Adam was created perfect and without flaw, what humanity was intended to be, but Adam sinned and was sentenced to physical and spiritual death(as well as the rest of mankind).
Jesus came as a Adam. He came perfect which is what mankind was intended to be. that is why God wants us to strive to be like Jesus. Jesus took the place of Adam, even though the first Adam was long dead. Jesus came with everlasting life. I hope this makes sense.

Sorry but that is a pointless question because the only reason Jesus came to this earth was to die for us not to get old and wither away. What would have been the point in that?
You better be carefull when talking about God (it's not cute) After all this is your soul you are talking about
Once again your modification is no good because than Jesus would not have been perfect, He would have been disobeying His father. That my friend would breaking one of the 10 commandments.

The thing is, Jesus wasn't a mere human. No one even had sex in order to make Him. God put Jesus into Mary. She was a virgin when she had Him. Humans are born with a sin nature, but the simple answer is, Jesus just wasn't a human.

The fact that Jesus was born and grew older with age shows that his body was the same as everyone else's. But His purpose in this world was different and when He fulfilled His purpose it was finished and done. Jesus lived in total obedience to God and so in doing so He could not fail. There was no other purpose for Him other than the one He came for.

Make sure that you read your bible to find out the truth... and not just go by what we are writing:
You need to know God first to then know how Jesus became! who he was!
How can I know God Exists?
Where is God? If this question still needs to be settle in your mind consider the evidence for God in His creation.
Genesis 1:1 says.............In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
Do you believe it? Look around at the evidence.
Psalm 19:1-2 tells us..........The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmanent shows His Handiwork.
Do you believe that God wants you to see Him? The bible says he does. He reveals Himself to us
Psalm 98:2 says..................The Lord has made known his salvation; his righteousness he has revealed in the sight of the nations. .................................... can you not see the glory of God
God reveals himself to us through his creation (Romans1:20) and through his word.
Finally, God desire us to know him so much that he took on the form of a man in the person of his son Jesus christ. Consider these words from Paul in philippians 2:6-8 (Who being in the form of God) their talking about Jesus (thought it not robbery to be equal with god; but made himself of no reputation and took upon him the form of a aservant and was made in the likeness of men;
Being found in fashion as a man he humbled himself and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross
John, another apostle, helps us understand that Jesus is the same God who created the universe when he says in John 1:
In the beginning was the word, and the word was with God and the word was God....all things were made by him...........In him was life and the life was the light of men................and the word was made flesh................................ect..................we can see God in what he has created; we can see him when we read his word.....we can see him in the person and character of jesus christ. Jesus came to help us understand God and to assure us that God understands us.........................
It does not matter if Jesus was........... a just man or if he had people (on the side)...............in that case we can also call him gay...seeing that he was always with so many men ............ it doesn't matter what we find him to be .............. he was called to do a job..... he came .........he has done what was needed of him and he left..... now its up to us to find out what our reason is ........... why r we here.......what is our purpose...........i think, it's to live in a Godly fashion......and just for once live for God!

I believe that his body was mortal and subject to the same physical and emotional stresses which in turn caused him to learn more about himself. We know he prayed, meditated, fasted, and walked regularly, and each of these is good for the mortal situation. Being that he was so clever with his comparisons between earth and Heaven, I would guess that he had very good health also to keep the mental images clear. Also he died during the average prime health age for men.
