My husband and I could keep our phone ringers off at all times and still answer when we call each other, it happens often.

We both come home from the store with the same unusual snack or product that we've never had or haven't had in ages.

One of us will verbally answer a question the other only thought, out of the blue.

That is just the tip of the iceberg... also, each of us have one close friend with whom we have similar connections... My friend and I are both prone to depression and can go months without talking but then call each other at *exactly* the same time, for no particular reason. His friend called to ask if I was pregnant *the day* we got a positive test, and we hadn't told a soul we were even trying.

I don't want to believe in the paranormal because I like scientific evidence, but too often we experience these things, only with each other and these two friends though.

What are your thoughts?

why do people have such a problem with oprah spending HER own money to build a school for african girls? they say it should be used for americans, but i think americans have enough schools, and many dont take advantage of it or simply drop out. whats wrong with oprah building a school for people who will take advantage of it?

For the sake of a peaceful world I would very much like to believe that Islam is a true religion like Judaism, Buddhism, Christianity etc. but unlike these religions it seems to fail the test in Matthew 7: 15-20. Do you agree?

I bought a house that had some serious issues that were not disclosed, $20,000 worth, and I want to take these people to court but I know I have read inthe Bible that it is not ok, I cant remember where, I know it says something like don't do it and that God will take care of it, bu that is alot of money! Indians are found all over the world today. They have adapted and integrated into these countries. You do not find Indians littering or dirtying public places in these countries. Yet these Indians do not follow the same code of civic ethics when in India. Why does this dicotomy exist and how do we get Indians to show civic sense in their own country.

It said "GOD" in my first spoonful and then it spelt out..."KNOWS" as I finished my second spoonful.. upon the 3rd scoop it reads "SAINTS" and at the 4th helping I was stunned to read the words "CHEATED"... After reading such a shocking account... I opened another can for further proof... This time reading.... "PATS" thinking it further odd... I read "SAINTS" after I put down my vodka upon sobering up 20 mins later... the remaining letters in my bowl read: "THE FIX IS ON"

Yes I am a Muslim. Yes I have different views of Jesus Christ. However, let us be certain that this movie was not made by a Muslim or For a Muslim. However, it was made for the christans of the world who believe Jesus diead a horrible death. Mr. Gibbson, shows how a meek and without fault man, diead this death. It was horrble, but that kind of death was alway horrble. The beating, the lashing, and to be fixed on the cross were all horrble. Ms. Gibbson brings the truth about all that happened to Jesus, in the best way he could. I cried, I laughed, I did not even notice that the movie was not in english. I have watched the movie 6 times, and still it moves me as it did the first time I saw it. The movie shows the horror of mankind towards each other. Gibbson put the truth and may God help us understand that.

Isn't great that close-minded people go out of their way to "bash" gay people and rights, as they think they are doing good yet I can remember something saying Do Not Judge. Yet, their own lives are messed up but they rather use their free time, to bash good, loving people.

ok, so both of my parents are persian and i have grown up in a somewhat modest persian culture, but now that i have fallen in love with a guy who is half american-half spanish, they are freaking out. i myself, like the guy i love, am christian and my parents never objected that before, but now they are saying i am not allowed to marry him, i must marry a persian man or not wed at all, and that my family would shun me for this act. they always told me how love is the most important thing and nothing comes above it, but now that my time has come, they are denying me this. what should i say or do, how can i make my utterly hard-headed parents realize that this is for real, that love should come above religion?

In my opinion, people lose their interest in the real world when they become obssessed about the afterlife.

It's like picking and prodding the peas on your plate during dinnertime, muttering "Ew, I so don't like this."

Then, when your mother dishes out something sugary like cake, you wolf it down without hesitation.


But what you don't realise is that in reality, the peas are far more nutritional and wholesome. The cake and ice cream are only filled with artificial ingredients and topped with bright colors.

This is just a weird theory I made about life. People become so obssesed with the afterlife (dessert) that they forget about the "here and now" part of their lives (the main course). This was a major Enlightenment idea promoted during the Renaissance.

It is so hard for me to see so many people walking in the sin and darkness of this world. Being on this site has me realize how many people willing turn thier back to God. If you are not a Christian, why are you on this part of the site unless you are curious about how you can become one..
If you are not saved, how can you live your life here on Earth never knowing where you're going to be after you die.
Believe the Bible or Not, believe God or Not...it doesn't matter, it doesn't change the fact that Heaven and Hell and God and Satan are real. They are real.
I beg you now...fall on your knees and put your faith and trust in Christ now, while there is still time...or you can fall on your knees infront of God himself before the judgement seat and give account for why you never did on this earth. Trust me, you WILL believe then. You will believe when God says "Depart from me ye that work iniquity, I NEVER knew you."

these ignorant hate spreaders need to get a life

1. Stop hiding behind gods so called word last time I check god always spread love and tolerance and forgave others.

2. The bible was written by men to control others

3. Organize religion is made to control others, and rewritten over the years

4. Ignorance will never get you anywhere

5.AIDS was not created by god to hurt others

6. If AIDS was created to only hurt gays why do 50% of straight women and men have aids? And the problem with aids in Africa. Dose that make all of Africa habitants gay? No it dose not

being gay is not a sin. What is a sin is to lie and hide who u really are, also a sin is to wish harm to others, and to judge others that’s not your job that’s gods
