Are Jews - describing themselves as "the chosen people" no different to Nazi's viewing Aryans as the pinnacle of humanity?

Does it? Because secretly, I think even the most religious figure heads like the Pope aren't 100% sure.

Many questions coming in lately, people saying the Rupture won't happen or that it's a figment of somebody's imagination.

Let me clear this up once and for all. Turn your Bibles to Thessoloonians chaper 63 and read along with me "For two will be driving to market and stopped at the stop sign, and their vehicle will rupture, and one will be taken and the other left. For somewhere else two will be wringing clothes in the laundry and the laundry will rupture and one will be taken and the other left."

Friends, do not be confused, the Rupture will definitely take place. Atheists, Jews and others will be mystified. Calls to 911 will go crazy.
But to be forewarned is to know what to do: for it will only take place wherever there are two people, not if there are more than two, and not if there is only one.
So let this be a word to the wise: If you are worried about the Rupture just don't go out in twos.

If you know something exists, you don't need to believe or have faith. The only reason people "believe" or "have faith" is because they know there is a possibility that what they are believing in does not exist. Do you believe in the chair you are sitting in? No, you don't, you know it exists.

The Bible isn't proof to me, and I know it's not proof to a lot of other people on here. I'm almost certain that quoting Charles Darwin would be ridiculed, so why do people on this site feel that its ok to use a quote from the Bible as their answer?

This is somewhat rhetorical, I'm just sick of it.

call them when speaking of the many beliefs in the world, about why and how? Should we make a new word? You don't Know any more than a Hari Krishna does. You just "believe" you do. Would you prefer belief system. I hear alot of "don't call us religion", than what? A "philosophy" does not quite fit for the zealous way some Atheist go about it. If you are a philosophy they all are. Science has not figured out half of it, heck the Buddhist know more than they do about the universe, yet they prance around with the same we are not a belief system stuff, yah well tell that to a Trekkie...
there are some Athiest in here really making it look like dogma how bout dogma...I know you guys and yer christain bros are touchy, but I want to call you what you want...howa bout ...non deist-believing peoples- or grave-going-staying-there, or talking walking DNA etc
Humor me.

My earlier question found very little benefit arising from the existence of multiple Christian denominations. However, there remain hundreds of denominations in the US alone.

What would you be willing to forfeit to help bring about Christian unity? What would you ask others to give up?
