A mental diet is the kind of culture you feed your mind with: The books you read, the television you watch, the music you listen to, etc...
Aside from the hard atheists, everyone in the section has some sort of metaphysical bend. Although even the hard atheists make a metaphysical statement when they say there is nothing more to the world than what we can experience of it. Metaphysics is a word coined by Aristotle, which literally means: After physics. It is the study of anything that is not discernible to the senses, and the nature of existence, of the reality which surrounds us.

I never heard the term 'mental diet', but it sounds like slowing down your thinking. The best explanation of a mental diet (as I understand this term) is in the book "The Power of Now".
Your mind is meant for practical uses, when you need it to accomplish a certain task. However, some people don't know how to turn it off. Some use mind games 24/7 like crosswords or sudoku etc which makes them more frustrated throughout the day. Other people have criticism running through their head (either of themselves or others). Other ones have negative patterns that cause bad emotions that become uncontrollable. Your mind needs some silence and a break sometimes too.

Metaphysical: transcendent or to a reality beyond what is perceptible to the senses
So no one here is metaphysical. Mental Diet? Like when you lay off food for a physical diet, a mental diet is when you lay off thinking. lol

You need to clarify your question.
If religion debugged itself of all its contraddictions, it would be called reason and faith would become useless.
