Catholics ARE Christians too!
John Wycliffe was the first Christian to publicly point out the corruption in the Roman Catholic Church of his time (14th century). He was eventually martyred for speaking out. Some time later a man by the name of John Huss came along and read Wycliffe's work and agreed with it and spoke out. He too was martyred for doing so. However, his last words were a prophecy concerning Martin Luther who was to come a hundred years after and basically change Christianity forever.
This is a very, very brief answer but it's to the point.

John Wycliffe was the first known person to translate the entire Bible into English which caused people to see what the Bible actually says for themselves and not to just trust the priest or a pastor. This has impacted today as most people in Western countries can access the Bible freely. The full effect of this is now dieing out as people are brainwashed that they cannot interpret the Bible themselves.
He, along with many others before him, spoke out against the Catholic and this helped caused the reformation to happen. He worked with the Lollards, one of the many non-catholic Christian groups before the reformation.

Like Arias, Wycliffe started the Protestant way of life. Wycliffe also translated the Latin Vulgate into English, but only the New Testament. Also Arian started the movement to stop the belief that God, Jesus & the Holy Spirit was the same being. Became known as Arianism Arianism Disestablishmentarianism antidisestablishmentarianism

Pastor Billy says: naughty naughty you deleted your original question because you didn't like the answers which were factual.
Wycliffe frankly contributed to the divisions of Christianity. By the way he died a Catholic so if you think he be Christian he was as a Catholic darling ;). The problem with publishers like Wycliffe and Tyndale was they added to scripture, biblical notation which encouraged a heretical interpretation of the text.

Wycliffe made was that every man had the right to examine the Bible for himself because the Mother Whore's Religion was obviously corrupt throughout the middle ages.
At this time there was no Bible written in English it was only available in Latin. Wycliffe believed that the translation of the Bible was absolutely essential. People had to be able to read God's Word in a language they could understand.
John Wycliffe of England translated the bible into English and his followers were later hunted down and killed.
The Mother Whore didn't like the translation of the Latin Bible to English then 40 years after John Wycliffe death, they dug up his remains, burned them and threw the ashes into a river.
The Mother Whore, She is opposed to it because it is opposed to her.
Why the Mother Whore got mad? John Wycliffe's statement that the N.T. is of full authority and open to the understanding of simple men. Christ did not write His laws on tables or on skins of animals but in the hearts of men.
Mother Whore says, Only she can Interpret the Bible.
Give me a break!
