I believe you make a valid point. In fact, if there were a god, it has asked you to gamble... because faith is nothing more than that... a gamble. What are the odds?

Where in the Bible does it say that about gambling? Anyway, insurance is certainly based on probablity (called actuary charts) but to say it is gambling is a stretch. Nice try, though, to nail us two-faced Bible thumpers.

It is against the bible to gamble. The bible says we are to be content with what we have. Gambling is a form of greed and lust; lusting after money.
1 Peter 2:11- Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims,
abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul;
1 John 2:16 - For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
James 1:14 - But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.
Titus 2:11, 12 - For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, 12 - Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldy lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;
1 Timothy 6:5, 6 - Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw theyself. 6 - But godliness with contentment is great gain.
Hebrews 13:5 - Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee nor forsake thee.

the Bible does NOT say its wrong to gamble. . I don't think. The bible warns against worldly things that could become like gods. .A person addicted to gambling thinks only about gambling and it becomes the most important thing in his life. . know what I mean?

he means gambling with money... nobody knows what is going to happen to our body or cars...
car insurance is required... or at least something that says your not getting it...
and health insurance is to be on the safe side....
of course choosing to believe in god or not is gambling...
if god exists and you dont believe, then you might go to that bad place, but if you do believe you'll be rewarded with his riches...
IF, he doesn't exist then how can you explain everything and anything?

The Bible doesn't say it's wrong to gamble; it says it's wrong to swear. It says don't swear by anything. Don't say "I swear to you such and such.
As for gambling that's perfectly okay, as long as you're saved. Go and kneel at the Baptist preacher's altar and do the special incantation, and have him declared you saved, and then you don't have to worry about gambling, cause as long as your're saved most minor sins are okay. At least that's my understanding from Baptist doctrine.
On the other hand, what the hell do I know; I'm an atheist.

Unfortunately, people HAVE to have car insurance. Mainly because liberals will try to sue you into bankruptcy if they wreck into you and you don't have it! FACT!
