What is the most controversial commercial you have ever seen and how did it affect you?

Do you think that the prevalence and semi-acceptance of "open relationships" in the gay male community has damaged our (all gays) struggle for the right to marry?

First of all, let me say that I am very gay and I very much support gay marriage, but let me play DEVIL'S ADVOCATE for a sec: Can we really blame the heterosexual majority for being so wary about giving us the right to marry when it seems like (and i stress "seems like") we are so careless about monogomy?

Now before I get tarred and feathered by everyone, i know that not all gay people support or embrace open relationships. But we can't deny that the idea of open relationships is very visible and prevalent in mainstream gay culture. So are we shooting ourselves in the foot here?

P.S. And yes, I am aware that adultery, swinging and open relationships do exist in the hetero community, but from what I can perceive, mainstream gay culture is a lot more accepting of this type of relationship moreso than straight culture

Why does God make humans so ignorant? It would be much easier for us to worship such a God if we were made less insane or if he at least provided enough people with the basic irrefutable proof for the existence of such a God.

There seems to be an aweful lot of lives going to waste on this planet. Unless some kind of reincarnation is being planned, this seems to be a pretty strange idea for salvation.

Is there something in the Bible about this situation?

Sorry, but I really do not know much about that religion. A lot of people on here seem to think it is a very violent religion....but, I just think that like everything else it has it's extremists...people who go too far. Sometimes I will say things in a chat or on here that are sarcastic or meant to not be taken seriously. It's not cool when people get mad at those comments or think someone is an idiot for it. You cant have a sarcastic tone in text so don't you think people should lighten up?

anorexia. They showed "before and after" pictures, including one taken while she was hospitalized 2 wks before Christmas--a total horrifying bag of bones. To me it changed the mood from Wake to a Montel or some lesser side-show style talk show. I went from feeling sad to feeling disgusted. The families voted on what pictures to use. But everyone there knew how she suffered. Why would someone do that? and What would you have done?

i was watching clerks two one day and the black couple got offended because he said the word porch monkey. i'm african american myself but i didn't know that term was a racial slur. i thought it meant someone who was lazy or just sits on thier porch most of time. i think it's stupid, that term shouldn't even be in the category for offensive words. i think people pay too much attention to these words and give them power and why is it referred to just black people? sooner or later we cant say anything without someone getting angry and wanting to fight. just like the n word, i don't like that word myself but i don't get all crazy and want to beat somebody up just because they say it. i'm not just talking about black people but all ethnicities because i'm quite sure every race has a racial slur. dont let the word control you, you control the word. (that last part sounded kind of lame but i had to find a way to end it)

I'm a white 37 year old male living in england. The vast majority of my neighbours are asian. The local pubs are asian owned.I have sincerely tried to socialise with the guys but they dont want to know and the girls are strictly off limits.I have heard them calling me "gura" whatever that means.I am also constantly overcharged for my shopping...so is this racism I'm suffering here because I am so alienated?
