where doctors/surgeons/artists are able to alter the human appearance in anyway that is seen to fit to the person being altered?

it could happen, there almost doing it now with plactic surgery and make up any way

Well, if I live long enough to see that happen I wouldn't let them. I earned every gray hair on my head and every wrinkle on my face and I'm proud of them (don't much like the cellulite though. I don't think I'd want to be around if technology were to advance that far.

Humans will become difficult to recognize. And if they do it through DNA modifications, we will see humans evolve into all manner of chimeras and fanciful creatures.
