Marriage is a social thing. Proof: ask someone to show you where Adam and Eve were married.
If you read the whole Bible you will learn this:
Harmony is Harmony.
Disharmony is the only sin against God.
Unmarried couples usually have less disharmony than married couples. -- Go figure -- which situation causes the most sins against God.

If you are living as brother and sister then there is no problem your doing it Gods way but if however there is a sexual relationship there, then it is not in accord with the divine plan of the Sacrement of Holy marriage. Your not alone, many couples are in this situation.

No. It's just wrong to break up and leave them, unless they cheated on you. That would be divorce and Jesus said you're not supposed to do that. So they are considered married, a couple, forever and ever til death do them part.
If you break up and do it with others you are doing adultery and fornication.
