I doubt that's true. Republicans can be conscientious about freedom and about limiting government.

Perhaps you've heard that said by people who think Republicans have no self-reflection. I've known some highly self-reflective Republicans. And they've been saddened by the direction the national party and some state organizations have taken over the past several years.

If you really are a Republican Buddhist, just meditate and learn more about how to end the suffering that affects us all.

Buddhists believe in contributing to the world in many ways, including a quest for eternal peace in a peaceful manner. Repulsive party and neocons want world doninance by force. They also steal and are dishonest, unlike Buddhists.

Buddhists try to attain wisdom.

Can't be political and wise at the same time. They cancel each other out.

Which republican beliefs do you have?

Now, when you look at those beliefs thru the perspective of one following the Tao, maximizing your appreciation for the zen-ness of all things, does the bias hold up?

sounds like a rarity if at all the congressional record is full of criminal activity which would exclude most Buddhists anyway.
oh that record was not meant to be so miss leading I meant the congressional criminal record not the other one .

Because people think if you are a Republican you are automatically a Christian and if you are a Democrat they automatically think you are the spawn of satan....Neither of which is true.
