Some people simply aren't as smart as others, and everyone is so quick to bash them, instead of help them.
They can't help it if they were dropped on their head as a baby or ate lead chips!

I never understand why people are so sarcastic with others on this site. This is not like school where you had to answer all of the questions. You have a choice on what you would like to answer, and the questions to skip.
I personally think that if a member does not have anything constructive to say to the person that has spent her three points to ask the question; then the answerer should not leave messages for the asker.
I have come to see that people just want to earn the two points for answering the question, and this is not fair for those people, and the asker who want to leave a positive comment for the readers, and maybe the possibility of a "high five" for the answer, and or, a possible rebut able.
They should not leave sarcastic information, but they will continue some people you sarcasm as a way to wiggle out of answering a question. They do not know the answers, or have never been in the situation.

Good question. I dont ever bash people who ask what I would consider to be a "stupid" question. If I do not have a useful or informative answer I just move on to the next question rather than leave a sarcastic or smart a s s answer. I wish everyone here would do the same thing I do.

I guess because we are all different in terms of attitudes towards ourselves and others......When I answer a person's question, I feel like I contributed towards something positive towards their life, as well as my life....I don't put them down (although I wish that more people would go into the Yahoo Q & A Archive and search for their question BEFORE they post it. It would cut down on the traffic on this Website)..I learned so much about people and life being on this Website....There is Good and Bad in everything!
I learned a long time ago that If you assume that everyone else is smarter than you, YOU cannot take advantage of that person and your life will be better. Being on this Website taught me this and brought me a lot of Humility.

Great question. I sometimes get some really snobby comment over a misspelled word. But over all, people on this site are very cool. There some of us that take this site with pride, and others, well let's just say they had a bad childhood.

Because sometimes, people think others are asking just simply asking stupid questions. I've asked stupid questions and have gotten a few sarcastic answers, but it doesn't hurt me, as there is always someone who provides me with a "legit" answer.

You are so right! By the way, that sounds sarcastic strangely enough - but I swear, I'm not being sarcastic. I have to admit that I can be sarcastic to such questions from people who ask for it. But in your case, it's a decent question.

Talk about sarcastic! which one are you dropped on head or mean? I prefer to be the sarcastic one yet the dropped on head one sometimes rears its ugly flat head!

Sometimes it appears that people answering don't spend enough time considering the life and situation of the person asking the question.
