Even if I would try...
I can't bring myself to think of homosexuals as sinners.
I can't bring myself to think that abortion is wrong in all cases.
I can't bring myself to think euthanasia is wrong in all cases.

I believe in freedom for anybody, as long as they don't hurt others.

Why on earth should I accept Jesus into my heart, and with that start to condemn my few gay friends, that 14 year old raped girl who desperately needed an abortion, that very ill 91 year old man who is begging for euthanasia, etc, etc. ?

Right now, I believe in God, and I think that Jesus could have been the son of God, but I'm not sure. I believe that all religions have some things that are true, and some things that are false. However part of me still tells me that Christianity may be the truest religion... I used to be a good Christian, but I lost faith in that belief because I just don't see how 1) So many Christians can be so hateful 2) Why God needs to let people who aren't saved go to hell...couldn't he just imprison Satan and give the souls of those who aren't saved a place that's not as bad as Hell, just not Heaven? 3) Why did God need to sacrifice his son if he's all powerful? Couldn't he just take all the souls out of Hell whether Satan likes it or not? To test us? Give us a choice? Why? Is this a game to him?
If anyone can answer all of these questions in a way that makes sense to me, you might save me if Christianity is true. Part of me wants to believe it is, and part of me refuses.

I have heard Christians argue vehemently about works vs faith, for example, backed up by scripture. Are both right? neither? How will you feel when you get left behind because you chose to believe the wrong scripture, or a misinterpretation of scripture?

A good chunk of society is use to seeing bright colored hair, tattoos, piercing, scarification and even suspension. I can't imagine what the future holds in this sense. I can care less, I am just curious.

So many lead singers of rock bands and punk and emo bands are called on being gay. Like Gerard Way of My Chemical Romance, Brendon Urie of P at the D and Davey Havok of AFI. It is sooo annoying because I have no idea if Gerard Way or Brendon Urie are gay and I KNOW that Davey Havok is NOT gay because it says on the official band sight. I think these guys are good looking and when I say that, the response I get is an immediate "you know he's gay right?". That whole subject makes me mad. It is none of these peoples' business what the lead singers of the band do with their life and who I think is good looking. Especially when they say it when I am not even talking to them. Gay people are just fine anyway!

Are there any "group of people" that you like more than others. Example are you more happy to meet a black person or white or do you not care at all. Would you marry an asian dude? what group of people do you get along better with? Is there any culture you don't like or think is weird? Do you believe one group of people is more violent than others? Smarter than others? I am speaking in general not indiviuals. Do you feel more comfortable being around someone with your ethnic background over someone different? Would you feel comfortable in another country with different people? Sure Christianity is the dominant religion in the USA, but why not challenge other faiths equally?

Christian Politicians don't count in this as most are the worst examples of Christian morality in my opinion.

everybody says it is the word of god but what they dont realize most gospels have differant versions of the same account, for example when Jesus rose from the dead some gospels say he was greeted by one angel another gospel says he was greeted by two angels another said he was just greated by mary, if it was written by the word of god wouldnt it cantain the truth of what happend and not several versions of one account, this is a perfect example of how stories get changed over time by man
so why believe in noahs arc? or why adam and eve? wouldnt you think it was stories to teach uneducated people of right and wrong, how would god tell the ancient people of evolution, it would be impossible

As shallow as this sounds, im having a hard time being around my friends kids. They are really rude and misbehave and are generally annoying but my friend doesnt think its a problem and gets quite defensive when others share their parenting ideas with her.
She is a great person, and a young mum who has had it tough, but her kids are getting in the way of our friendship and i get angry when they say rude things to me?
How would you handle this?

I recently learned that there is such a thing as a birth star. My birth star is:

Zeta Tucanae
(I was born on 2/12/79)

and my fianceé's birth star is:
Gamma Leporis
(He was born on 11/10/77)

I have not easily found any explanations of birth stars online. Can someone help me with this? I am interested to know (for curiosity's sake) what all of this means.
