Everyone crys (or at least feels down) sometimes so fellas, why the big deal about hiding tears and emotion?

Because of the tough guy mantra we view on many TV shows and Movies. But also, "man strength" is viewed in how they deal with a situation. The most common form of "male emotions" is now displayed in anger and rage. For some reason these are viewed as ok and even prefered, at least that is what the world seems to convey. I don't mind wearing my emotions on my sleeve. I don't mind crying in front of people.

It's part of our main charactor.
If a man cries all the time it means nothing but that he is a big baby that has a lot to learn about how to be stronger in life and people pick on the weak for that.
If a man cries once a year per say ,then you know he must really mean it.
It will have more of an impact on anyone around who notices and thats understandable.That's also tough for a man to handle self esteem wise.

Actually the other person freaks out. They think boys don't cry (no pun).

cause it's not a manly thing to do i guess. i mean i dunno i can be emotional sometimes, but i can't remember the last time i cried.
