I have heard Christians argue vehemently about works vs faith, for example, backed up by scripture. Are both right? neither? How will you feel when you get left behind because you chose to believe the wrong scripture, or a misinterpretation of scripture?

God knows our hearts, and motives, and level of knowledge. He will judge us accordingly. He makes the best judge, much better than any human could ever do. He judges neither too harshly, nor too lenient. He just KNOWS all, and has perfect love. I wouldn't worry so much about it.

The Bible says you must believe in Jesus Christ to be saved. In order to do that, you must have faith. Once you have real, honest faith, you begin to WANT to do good works, as the Bible puts it. It is an outflowing of each into another. The Bible is actually very clear about this. People do tend to get caught up in one or the other. But ultimately, it is honest, from-the-heart belief in Jesus Christ which Jesus said would earn you a place with Him.

I just go on my faith. I try to do good works but, God also said that all have fallen and come short of his glory. No person is perfect and God knows we are human and the flesh is weak. Do your best. It isn't as hard to be a Christian as some people think it is. You should try to do works for God but, he will lead you in the right direction. It is important to have faith as well. The one thing that let's me know that I am a Christian is, I believe that God sent his only son, Jesus whom died for our sins and arose on the third day. He said that no man come to the father but, by him. My belief in him will be what leads me to heaven.

God will not leave anyone behind over something as insignificant as a misinterpretation of scripture. If someone believes in Christ, loves God and tries to do what is right, they will not be left behind.

Thankfully we are judged according to our knowledge and how we act on that knowledge. Knowledge leading to the faith that we will be saved. Works being the fact that we try to live our lives according to and acting on that knowledge.

There is only one way and Jesus is that way. Christians may disagree on a lot of things but God's Word remains the same.

Faith without works is dead. I can have faith that food will keep me alive, but if I don't eat, I die. Same thing. It takes both.

We will all go to Heaven. We may be rewarded differently, but we will all see each other there. Kind of hard to really imagine, but that is what I believe.
