Witch is a character invented by the fairy tale writers depicting the opposite of the fairy (good). Later the word was introduced during the inquisition and about the period of King Henry VIII and after when the clash between Protestants and Catholics set up in Europe and England. A witch is a fairytale character only so you may have got the answer?

I am surprised by the answers you have received already. Let me try...
First I would be tempted to ask, "which god?" But since you have capitalised the word I will assume you mean the one God of the big religions.
Not to step on anybody's toes, but assuming God to be the force which enacted creation and therefore permeats all things, then there is zero evidence to support God as being anything more than a mindless elemental force lacking in any indepentent will whatsoever. If one holds that God is the creating force then God is reduced to the accumulated spiritual mass of all things. The sole consciousness of the divine is merely the emotional soup of all feeling entities. As we all broadcast our ideas, feelings, problems, imaginings, etc. the divine soup is flavoured and altered.
Magic is generally accepted to be the deliberate enacting of the Will upon the spirit energies around in order to achieve some desired result. Therefore it could be said that every spell works through God. Any spell intended to work directly upon those spirit energies would then be a spell cast on God.
But I submit that God is not a conscious independent being and as such, does not care if you cast spells to affect him/her/it or not. Neither does God ever deliberately take vengence or bless. These things are not different than storms or calm patches of weather within our planetary environment. Sometimes one hits you and sometimes the other.

I wish. But I would have to believe in the Christian God to do so, and the reason I became a witch is because I no longer believed in the Christian God, and was thus free to choose my own path. So, casting a spell on the Christian's God would be kinda like trying to beat up my imaginary friend with a baseball bat.

No, I don't think so, because if you mean the Christian god, she wouldn't believe in him. And if you mean a pagan god, why would she want to cast a spell ON him? She casts spells WITH him, as partners. If she doesn't like the way he does things, she works with a different god, or a goddess, or by herself.

a witch can't cast a spell on anyone who doesn't believe in witchcraft or who knows that the specific witch is a fake.

Considering God is NOT real the answer must be NO!
Spells can only be cast on real beings!
You can't cast a spell on the tooth fairy or Easter bunny either!

Oh what a silly question. Put it this way if a witch were to try, I'd hate to be any where near her when God responded!

Rev 2:12-18 - "Thou canst cast a spell on that which is not there."
Wiccan Bible: "Do not attempt to cast spells. It is absolute nonsense, and that which is not there may never allow you to enter the Great & Holy Sand Castle."
Need I say more?
