About 3 out of every 20 Christians that I come upon, feel that they must change my religion, to "save" me. I continue to tell them I don't want to be saved in such a manner, because I believe that God is a hope too good to be true. They continue to persist and ask me stupid questions which I throw aside, but the won't give up. Can anyone tell me why they care?

"Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able?
Then he is not omnipotent.
Is he able, but not willing?
Then he is malevolent.
Is he both able and willing?
Then whence commeth evil?
Is he neither able nor willing?
Then why call him god?"

-Epicurus (c. 341-271 B.C.)

Im looking for someone who has an individualistic view on the situation. No i don't believe in the Bible or the Church because they both try to impose authority in human life. The church is corrupt and no one can convince me otherwise, so anyone with a real view on Christ's death tell me it. And dont give me smack about believing in Christ but not the Church and the Bible.

You are welcome to do so. Maybe some new Sins or some miracle.

I can't believe that the managers at the fast food places let them get away with speaking spanish in there. I know Spanish, and they were talking about me as if I was not there. I asked for the manager and he was Mexican too. I wish I worked for the INS.

Do you believe things such as money, land ownership, jobs, etc exist in heaven? and if not is it because these things are "evill" and shouldn't exist? and if they are "evil" why do we subject ourselves to live a life with them?

I'm not talking about Ted Haggart as such here. But about Christian people in general, who were married, suppressing their true feelings of homosexuality, and simply couldn't refuse their true homosexual feelings anymore.

How does that make you feel?

Sad, because your religion obviously told him it's wrong being the way he is? Sad, because he gave in to his feelings? Sad, because he's going to hell now?

I'm seriously curious how such things make you feel.

On Luke 9:23 when it says: "...[To follow Christ] he must deny himself and take up his cross each day and follow me." But what does it mean to "take up our cross and follow Jesus"? We can't suffer through a Roman crucifixion the same way Jesus did now in 2007 so what does it mean?

One is the kind who's dependent, feminine, sumbissive, and likes to be a woman to his man, while another is something else quite different which I don't understand? He likes being a man but wants to be with another man who's like a woman. Is that type more likely to switch over to women or be bisexual? Are there ever two dependent types who get together? How does that work out for them? Am I missing the boat completely?

it's not. If people liked equality, WHY DO WE COMPETE IN TOURNAMENTS TO SEE THE STRONGEST, to see who the SMARTEST in spelling bees, or watch hollywood to see who the most beautiful man or woman is? Why do we compare Picasso to Remebrant IF IT'S SO EQUAL AND THE SAME?

The question is Why do people say everyone is equal?
