"Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able?
Then he is not omnipotent.
Is he able, but not willing?
Then he is malevolent.
Is he both able and willing?
Then whence commeth evil?
Is he neither able nor willing?
Then why call him god?"

-Epicurus (c. 341-271 B.C.)

First, once you in simple terms received an invitation, and it in simple terms had your % out on it (not something some shopper), then you definately do not seem invited to placed across your date. end of tale. ought to you probably did not get an actual invite, or if it did comprise a shopper, then there are some issues that should be happening: a million. it truly is a pair's bathe. this skill they are having a co-ed wedding ceremony bathe. it really is about giving presents to the couple, notwithstanding i have said those co-ed showers are extra of a pre-wedding ceremony social gathering than regardless of else. even if it truly is the kind of, you should deliver your date, yet showers are frequently truly extra intimate than the marriage itself. it may mainly be fantastically awkward for her until eventually she is known with fairly a large number of individuals that should be there. 2. it truly is a "guy's bathe"... those are suitable new. i experience it began with toddler showers. the lady ought to get a baby bathe, and the adult adult males began having "device bashes" or "diaper bashes" the position their guy pals ought to come over, all purchase a % of diapers, they frequently'd drink beer and watch a pastime. This similar phenomenon has began with bridal showers. The bride may have the better classic bathe, and the groom may have his guy pals and kinfolk over to grant "guy presents" and drink beer and watch a pastime. ought to you probably did not get an invitation, or the invite would not make sparkling this, in simple terms call up your chum and ask what type of social gathering it truly is.

God's intention for us was to have a perfect paradise without sin or evil. He allowed us the freedom to choose to obey or not. When we chose not to obey, this allowed sin to come into the world. If God prevented us from having freewill, then we would be only puppets.
Those who choose to follow God, despite all of the sin in the world, and all of the people that mock us, will be rewarded with entry into a new heaven and a new earth that Jesus will rule.

Your argument turns on the supposition that evil exists as an actuality and not simply a perception of ours (based on limited understanding). I am no theist, but I also do not know how events might appear to a being who can see all ends.

I hope Epicurus spent some time studying the Torah and seeking God's face. He would have realized that God has said, "My ways are not mans ways."

Good example of the scientific method. In science if the theory does not match the observations then one or the other has to be wrong and we keep working on the problem.

In religion if the theory does not match the observation we mumble something about "god's plan" or how he "works in mysterious ways". It is not intended to explain. It is just bullshit.

God created Lucifer and he DECIDED to be evil.
Some of mankind did also just as some decided to NOT be evil..
God gave us the freedom to choose.

It's been posted here before, but it's still a good quote. I suspect most of the Fundies won't even read it past the first sentence before giving you a thumbs down.

Edit : Boy, did I ever call that one right. ;) I think they're getting predictable.
